"I met and dealt with Richard while I was having my bardominium built in 2023. The concrete he pored for the 64x40 was perfect. He helped me out in many other ways on his own time on the weekends. I am happy that he has acquired the honest family business his dad worked so hard to make successful, and that Richard has been a part of since a very young age."

We are concrete coating company. We do decorative flake and metallic flooring coatings as well as concrete polishing. We are a company built and designed on tradition. Our greatest success is walking away from a project with a new friend and that friend having a huge smile on their face. We have been in this industry for 12 years. We legitimized our brand in April of 2019. We are veteran owned and family operated, we are a small company with large aspirations.

"I can't tell you how pleased I am with the resurfacing of my crumbling concrete patio. As you know, the concrete had so deteriorated, it was almost like walking on loose gravel. Besides being a falling hazard, it was being tracked into the house every time someone entered. The new surface couldn't look any better if it had been brand new concrete, and actually, is more attractive. Max and his crew worked diligently and were so pleasant. They worked hard to remove an old decorative tree stump (frozen to the ground) and a heavy concrete bench from the patio for me prior to getting started with the job. Besides this, the day they arrived to start the project the weather turned extremely snowy, completely different from when they left their home base in Springfield. They almost apologized in asking if I minded if they came back the next day (Saturday) to start the job. Not next week, but actually on a Saturday. I think it would have been impossible to work under the existing weather condition. Then they came back Sunday and even Monday to complete the job. I will not hesitate to call them again to work for me. They get an Excellent rating from me."

Small jobs welcome

"I had a large concrete pad installed for a garden shed which included a ramp and step, replaced a section on my patio that was cracked, and they poured footings for a custom burn pit. I'm very happy with the job K & K did from start to finish. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a quality job. Great bunch of guys too. Very professional tradesmen."

Concrete Resurfacing questions, answered by experts

Concrete resurfacing is the process of applying a new, thin layer of concrete over an existing concrete slab to enhance its appearance and durability. The terms 'concrete resurfacing' and 'concrete overlay' are often used interchangeably, though the exact meaning can vary between contractors. Generally, both refer to applying a layer of pre-blended concrete, typically between 1/4-inch and 1-inch thick. Some contractors may use 'overlay' to describe a thicker application that adds structural integrity, while 'resurfacing' might refer to a thinner, more cosmetic layer. This process is a cost-effective alternative to completely replacing the concrete, as it uses significantly less material than pouring a new 4-inch slab. Resurfacing also provides an opportunity to add new colors or stamped textures. Other names for this process include concrete restoration, concrete refinishing, and concrete rejuvenation.

Concrete spalling can be fairly serious, especially if left untreated or in a public area. It can be a tripping hazard and, if not resolved, can lead to structural instability.

Minor hairline cracks in your concrete may not look pretty, but they’re often not serious. It’s when concrete cracks are larger—wide enough that you can slide a credit card into it—that you need to worry. If you monitor a crack and can trace its active expansion over time, you’ll definitely want to call in a pro to inspect it and, potentially, repair it. Want to prevent cracks in your garage and driveway concrete in the future? Stay on top of sealing. Here’s how to seal your concrete garage floor and driveway.

Yes—as long as the area has been properly prepped. Different self-leveling brands and compounds have their own specific instructions for preparation; some may require that you add primer or grind the surface. Without proper preparation of the surface, the compound will not be able to fully bond to the concrete and fill the cure as a separate layer, which makes it prone to chipping.

Pervious concrete should be between 4 and 8 inches thick to drain water properly. Surfaces like parking lots and driveways should be at least 6 inches thick to accommodate the weight of vehicles, while patios and walkways may be poured between 4 and 6 inches thick. There’s no standard for pervious concrete thickness, but in most cases, the more weight the surface will need to hold, the thicker it should be.
