"Within an hour of contacting him, Patrick came to my condo unit for FREE to evaluate the sump pump system. Another plumber had previously given a rather incomprehensible quote based on his own past work on the building. Patrick was able to explain the other contractor's quote and clearly explain what type of system was in each unit (a point that had not previously been made completely clear). Within 15 minutes of evaluating the actual sump pump and the other contractor's quote, Patrick was able to provide an apples to apples quote, a quote for an upgraded maintenance free system (an upgrade the condo board is considering), and a quote for a long term money saving option that would create a continuity of sump pumps across the building and a easy of care and continued maintenance at a more reasonable price. If it was completely up to me, I wouldn't bother hassling with trying to get two other quotes to appease the condo board policy. I would hire McDonagh & Sons. "
