"It went very well. They were efficient and came prepared to complete the work we needed done. We love our new fan...its so quiet and does a great job removing the moisture out of the air. The toilet they fixed was an after thought but they ran and got the needed parts and fixed it right away. Im thankful your site lead us to H&S! "Costly! Incorrect measurement of basement windows delayed installation by months. I had to recaulk inside and out, to reseal. Broken window-slider handle. My continuous calls for window installation yielded, no apology or price break. Once installed payment notice immediately mailed with threat of collections because contract states payment at time of completion. No follow up on warranty, servicing etc of my crawl space encapsulation as promised to me at time of signing contract."

"On the day of the appointment, it was Art who came by. Even though the quote was high, we were prepared to install that day if we felt it would be worth it. They were charging MSRP for the materials, which we found at a discount elsewhere. So we asked Art about negotiating on the materials or on the labor. Instead of showing us why we should pay them that price to install, he accused us of being wrong that we could buy the kit for less. Then we asked about the warranty, if it covered any damage if there was a problem. At that point he got angry and said loudly, "You're not going to be happy no matter what!", stormed off into his truck and drove off. We were left standing there jaws dropped!
So we bought the kit at a discount and installed it ourselves. It took a lot longer, and was a pain because it wasn't something we'd done before. But the results were fantastic, we saved a lot of money, and we didn't enrich someone who treated us rudely.
