"I met with Ariel Zmijewski to get a quote to side my house and garage and to install two new attic windows.  I'm a single woman and homeowner and I have encountered more than my share of contractors who tend to patronize me because I am a woman.  I called in several quotes for the siding job on my home and Ariel was the only one who treated me with genuine respect.  Of course, I wouldn't have hired him just based on that, but GF also offered a competitive price for the job as well as quality materials.   Ariel said it would take about six weeks to get the material and then they would schedule my job and after 5 weeks, Ariel called and said the material was in and would be delivered to my home in two days and they would begin the job the following Monday!  Ariel guesstimated the job would take about two weeks, but it actually wound up taking four weeks - the reason being they encountered a couple issues when siding my house.  I have an older home and it seems like anything I do in renovating my home causes issues - which is why I have learned it is very important to have competent contractors on the job and that is what I had with GF.  Though the job took longer than planned due to these issues, these issues were resolved with fluidity and the end result is amazing!  Neighbors and family have complimented me on the look of my home and also on the fellas doing the job - they were impressed at how detailed they were!  The crew doing my siding and windows were amazing - ask for Mike, Jeremy and Tom and you will NOT be disappointed.  These guys were not only professional in their behavior but real nice down to earth guys!  I had a lot of detail work on my front porch and they took great pains to ensure everything looked nice.  I baked cookies and had chips and water and pop for them one day and gave them money to buy lunch for themselves another day and really wished I could have done more - these guys work great together!   And, Ariel came out to check out the work and monitored the job until it was done.  He always returned my phone calls promptly and never acted like I was bothering him.  I am going to get the remaining windows replaced on my home in the near future and will happily be using Ariel and GF to do the job!

"Mr Carlson has done previous interior work for me - patching a leak damaged portion of dining room ceiling and the repainting the entire dining room/living room ceiling. So I contacted him again when we were considering repainting several interior rooms. We started with the kitchen. The work took two days as the first day he did much prep work and applied two coats of new ceiling paint. The previous owners had painted the ceiling the same color as the walls which did not look appropriate at all. Two coats of ceiling white needed to be applied to cover the old color. The second day Mr. Carlson and one of his workers completed the job by painting the walls of the kitchen. This involved a lot of close cutting in work around windows and multiple door frames, etc. Mr Carlson also had his worker do some additional repair work that was needed in addition to the painting. Since Mr. Carlson's business also does handyman work, this worked was well versed in the repair work that I needed done.

Mr. Carlson noticed that the caulking along the back splash and around the sink itself was in poor condition. He redid all of this caulking at the end of his painting. There was no additional charge except for the cost of the caulk.

This is an ongoing project and Mr. Carlson will do additional rooms and hallways in the home as I schedule the work to be done. It is my choice to spread this work over a couple of months time due to my personal schedule."

"We wanted our basement finished and started it ourselves and decided it would be faster to find a professional. Alex responded promptly and quickly to our quote inquiry. Very professional and gave excellent suggestions to make our dream basement. We wanted the basement framed, insulated, drywalled, and mudded, and that's what we got. With reasonable pricing way within our budget and fast work they did a great job. Alex even went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect for us. They even finished the area we started, which they didn't have to do. I highly recommend, would hire again."

"I would hire Veterans Construction again for any home project we need done. They do excellent work ! It was wonderful to hire a company we can trust."

"Our original painter was unable to do job due to peronsal issues. Had already purchased paint. Went online and filled out application for paint estimates. Cooper Construction was quick to respond, fastes to give a quote and was able to start work within a couple days. His employees were polite and professional. Most of the time we were not at home while they were working, I would come home and even though not done with job they had picked up and stored things for the next day. We felt comfortable with them havin access to our home while we were not ther. They were easy to work with, our house looks great, and we would use them again."

"

I was very pleased with the way the kitchen project progressed. The painters came first and painted walls and cabinets, then Kirt and Sean started their work. They installed a new wood floor with such attention to detail it was as though they were creating a work of art.
We had several unusual requests such as removing an oven from a stone wall and then changing the remaining hole into a built in bookshelf and designing a building 5 open shelves with decorative corbels and repurposing an unused closet into a pantry.
We were thrilled with the results, and the thing we appreciated most is they both kept telling us that the job was not over until we were perfectly satisfied with every detail; and they were true to their word!

.Their prices were very reasonable and they were a delight to work with. Both Kirt and Sean were friendly, helpful and intent on pleasing. They were very punctual and reliable and at they end of the day everything was left neat and orderly.
I truly can't think of one negative experience we had with them.
I thank Angie's List, because it was there that we got Kirt's name. I would definitely recommend him and use him any time the need for his services should arise.

"Loay Jabbar provided the information I needed quickly and clearly. I immediately signed up for full coverages for our two homes because of the discounts offered and because of the quality of service that Loay is saying and promising Choice Home Warranty provides to its customers. I have bad experiences with other home warranty companies so I am hoping I found the best company that would deliver the best service."

"His bid was very competitive and I knew from previous experience he would go above and beyond to make sure it was right.

Mike is easy to work with, answers all your questions clearly and speaks his mind on the best way to do things.  That's something you can't get from a seller contracted crew!

I recommend Mike unconditionally."
