"On the second day of my roof replacement with Accredited, their office manager called to tell me they had already used 600? of wood to repair wood on my roof and that would add $5,600 to my bill. Unbeknownst to her, I had photographs and measurements of all the wood that had been replaced and I informed her it was nothing close to 600?. Despite me showing them the pictures and measurements, they refused to lower their figure below 300? (it was actually about 100?). They knew I needed a lien waiver and refused to give it to me until their inflated bill was paid. So I paid it and was cheated out of about $1,800"
