AE Finishing is a full service plastering contractor, owned and operated by Aaron Emmerich, plasterer with over 20 years of experience. We accept Cash, Check or Credit Cards i.e. VS,MC,DSC or American Express.

"Flawlessly, we had this company plaster our new two story when we built 12 years ago . The had to deal with 25 foot ceilings and it all went perfect . It has been 12 years and we are just now painting , they were our first choice for the basement but we are a two hour plus commute for them and I was not sure they would want the job since it was not as massive as the first project . Because of that I went a head and got several local bids just in case they couldn’t do it. All I can say is what a waste of time those bids were . Double and triple the cost and when the other companies were questioned about the bids all they could do is throw shade at the competition . My 12 year Impeccable plaster job was all I needed and thankfully they were able to do our basement and once again perfect , on top of that they were nice enough to fix a large crack from the ground settling around a window in the kitchen. A+++++++++++++++++++ - [ ]"

Looking For A Roofing Company in St. Louis, MO? For three generations our family has been in the building and roofing contractor business. My grandfather helped engineer and build portable bridges for the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. In 1947 he used this incomparable experience to start his own business. My dad followed in his footsteps, and I have been doing it my whole life. When you choose John Beal Roofing Contractor to do your project, you are choosing a company with over 60 years of pride and tradition. You have my personal guarantee that we will treat you fairly and honestly. And, as always, I promise you the very best job for your money.

"In a nutshell…It took 8 months to finish the process. Issues started the day they were supposed to show up to meet the insurance adjuster and didn’t. Continued customer service failures to the point that I had documented everything and sent an 8 page letter outlining the issues in hopes to get things moving. My insurance and I worked together to get a manager, who was more interested in talking about the final payment vs my issues , to finally submit the needed documents. The last email from the manager was rude and contradicted an email that was sent by someone else in the company just a minute before."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

The easiest way to remove stucco is to use a circular saw with a diamond blade to cut small squares out, pry them off, and then cut the metal lath behind it with tin snips. It’s possible to do everything with a hammer and a crowbar, but it will take significantly longer and will wear you out more quickly. Plus, you’ll have a higher risk of damaging windows, hidden siding, and sheathing if you go the less precise route.

You can use small bits that are up to 3/8 inch in diameter, or larger bits that are 1/2 inch or more in diameter. Make sure the bits you use are coated with carbide or diamond; this information is usually visible on the package. You can also use hole saw bits to drill into stucco.

A standard drill will work just fine if you’re drilling small holes, and only a few of them. But anything with a diameter larger than 3/8 inch is best done with a hammer drill, since it is stronger, faster, and also makes your drill bits last longer. While you don’t absolutely need a hammer drill for stucco, it is a worthy investment if you think you might drill more holes down the road.

Many general contractors can handle adding stucco siding, but it’s best to hire a local stucco contractor as you’re more likely to get a clean finish on your stucco siding that maximizes curb appeal. Stucco can be a challenging material to work with, so hiring a professional contractor who has years of experience and specializes in stucco application is advisable. Compare price quotes from at least three stucco contractors in your area to find the right pro for your task.

Stucco will dry in two to three days, but you should wait one to two months to allow it to cure fully before you paint it. The curing process is slow, but leaving the material exposed to air and natural moisture will help it reach its maximum strength. If you live in a hot, arid climate, wait a month before painting. Wait two months before painting if you live in a more moderate or wet climate.
