"I was able to get a fast quote and work started almost immediately. I had a whole house I needed help with and they were able to schedule licensed processionals for things that were needed. The painting work was absolutely amazing and everyone was so friendly. I would highly recommend this company."

"Great craftsmanship by this crew. They installed a new front porch for our old house. A few tweaks were easily incorporated, and they offered some unique ideas as we communicated our vision. We look forward to working with them again."

"The day Jon was to tear my pool down from my back deck he sat in traffic that would have frustrated anyone but he showed up pleasant as can be! Before he could remove pool he also had to cut away the brush that had grown up around pool and all over deck! He did an amazing job! I didnâ t think I would ever see the whole deck again! And it is 3 levels not just 1! I will definitely hire him again! Very pleasant person to deal with!"

I am a jack of trades independent contractor/ handyman with 10+ years experience. I am not a licensed plumber, licensed electrician, or licensed roofer. With that said it's easier to just tell you the things that I don't do. I do not do drain work, I do not replace electrical lines or panel boxes, I do not replace plumbing lines which includes water and gas, and I do not replace roofs. Aside from that I can do everything else, and have the tools to do so.

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

A good rule of thumb is to add one or two 40-pound bags of salt for every inch of rain, but you’ll want to test your salt levels first to ensure you’re adding the right amount. Rainwater can dilute the salt levels in your pool, so after significant rainfall, test the levels and add the appropriate amount of salt to bring it back to the ideal level.

Detecting a leak in your pool costs about $300 on average. The price ranges widely from low $100 up to $1,000. Here are the costs involved in leak detection services for your pool:

  • Pool inspection: $125–$250

  • Above ground pool leak detection: $100–$700

  • Inground pool leak detection: $400–1,000

  • Vinyl liner repair: $350–$3,600

  • Fiberglass lining repair: $300–$400

  • Concrete liner repair: $75 per linear foot

  • Pressure test pool lines: $200–$500

  • Skimmer repair: $100–$250

  • Main drain repair: $400–$700

  • Pump repair: $50–$300

  • Tile repair: $20-$30 per linear foot

In most states, it is a legal requirement to have a fence around your pool to protect both swimmers and pool owners. These laws can vary by state, city, and county, so you must research the specific regulations in your area before installation. The rules may also differ for inground versus above-ground pools, with inground pools typically requiring a full fence. Additionally, most homeowners' insurance providers will require a fence around a residential pool before providing coverage. As a general rule, it's always best to have a fence for everyone's safety.

Yes, it's possible to make an aboveground zero-edge pool. Note that it's most common to build an inground one, but, if you raise the deck and surrounding poolscape, you can install an aboveground version. Keep in mind, if you need to haul in dirt, it can significantly raise your land prep costs.

With a regular pool, the water is contained by visible walls that are higher than the water level. An infinity pool has one or more walls that are right at the waterline so they're not truly visible. For an invisible look, the lower wall is often made of glass or clear acrylic. The water laps over the lower edge and into a catch basin below where it gets pumped back into the pool.
