"I hate writing bad reviews, especially when we had a great experience with them 3 years ago. We had all our windows replaced in 2014. They did a great job installing, price was great. The installers completed job in one day. Had no problems with windows until now. One window is leaking around the wall into our master bedroom. Called John to see if he could have someone come out to look at the window (supposed to have a "lifetime" warranty). First he said it was probably not the window but the caulking around the window(which isn't covered by the warranty) and do I have a ladder to go up (20 ft) to look at it. I told him no and that I would prefer he send someone out to look at it. He asked that I send pictures and my address and he would send "Steve" out to take a look when he is in the area. Three months and still no one out to look at it (had someone else fix the leak). Apparently we are "too far" for anyone to come out. So, just a warning, make sure to be in their local vicinity to have any follow up with any issues after installation. Never mind the lifetime guarantee, isn't worth much if you can't even get anyone out to check the windows. Would be happy to put back the A review I gave them in 2014 if only the "LIFETIME" guarantee was worth anything."

"Gus and his crew replaced all windows in our house - 1 picture and 7 double-hung - and also replaced the old frames. The crew did a wonderful job - they were clean, efficient and polite. Windows look great and work properly. One thing that particularly impressed me is how patient and thorough Gus was through the planning stage. My husband and I are usually very picky and take some time to research our home project so we had tons of questions. Gus was never impatient, was there to answer all our questions and made sure we were comfortable before we started the project. Happy to recommend and hire again!"

The windows cannot be open or closed. I made tons of phone calls and 4 in-house estimators to see what can be done to get the problem fixed. All but one told me I have to get new window replacement. Replacement estimates range from $2000 to $4000. John was the only one who told me he can fix the operators without new window replacement. John charged me $200. Now I can open the casement windows without any problem.
