The 2 gentlemen were professional, hard working and thorough. They had them all cut down along with the clean-up in under 90 minutes. The stump grinding crew are on their way, as I write this to complete the job."

You need to remove all branches affected by Dutch elm disease. If your tree has several affected branches, you will probably need to remove the entire tree. If you make severe cuts to roots that are more than 2 inches in diameter, you run the risk of affecting the tree’s water flow as well as its ability to withstand severe winds or storms that could cause it to fall.
