"Keith and Chris have been taking great care of our carpets for a few years now. We have dogs and kids so our area rugs and stair runner need extra help. They also clean our fabric covered furniture like chairs and sofas which have given them a much longer life. Additionally they clean and sanitize our mattresses. Keith and Chris are very accommodating with our schedule and always really pleasant to work with. I highly recommend their work!"

"Very pleasant experience. I got an estimate over the phone and was able to schedule the service at a time that was convenient for me. Had to pay the minimum fee of $80 although only one room was cleaned, but it still seems like a good deal, because I was able to also get two synthetic rugs cleaned for no additional fee. My husband asked the service provider about treating some hardwood steps and got great advice on how to do it ourselves easily and inexpensively."

"Robert claimed he could remove stains that the previous carpet cleaner failed to remove, just a few weeks earlier. He lived up to his word completely. He was courteous, professional, and timely. We have quite a few commercial rental units, and a few residential units. We'll be using Robert in the future for sure. He even reached out the day after to see if we were completely satisfied. As I stated, we were satisfied, but if we hadn't been, I suspect he would have offered to come back at no charge to address the concern. That level of customer service, and the way he takes pride in the results he delivers, makes Strictly Business Cleaning a go-to vendor."

"He came in and assessed the situation very well. He put in a water meter. We had to get our door removed and reinstalled and it was installed and sealed properly (that was done by someone else). They came up with a great idea to put in two rows of ceramic tile by the door. It looks awesome and they did a perfect job. I am very happy with their service and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again."

Grout Tile Cleaners FAQs, answered by experts

If you are wondering how to get rid of mold in your shower or bathroom, substances like dish soap, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and rubbing alcohol all can potentially do the job. You also could create a mixture of bleach and water to remove the mold, but be very careful never to mix bleach with other cleaning agents. Only mix bleach with water. Exposing bleach to other cleansers could cause a release of extremely dangerous chlorine gas.

There are several products you can buy to soften caulk for removal. The most affordable are WD-40, alcohol, and vinegar. Industrial-grade isopropyl alcohol can be used for caulk that won’t budge, but you should hire a professional before using this solution. There are also a variety of products available at your local home improvement store that are made specifically for removing caulk.

You shouldn’t add new grout over grout that’s broken, cracked, or crumbling. If you do, the new layer might not adhere properly to the old one, and you could end up with even more grout issues. Plus, if you don’t remove the damaged grout, you’ll be ignoring whatever underlying problem initially caused the grout to crack, which could lead to more serious issues down the line.

The best cleaner to remove soot depends on the surface material and the type of fire, but consider dish soaps or degreasers, baking soda, rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen. Low-oxygen fires often leave behind greasy soot, which is best removed with dish soaps or degreasers. Baking soda can be useful for absorbing soot deposits from carpets, followed by rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean the set-in stains.

If left untreated, the smell of pet urine may not go away on its own. This is because urine is a surfactant that can penetrate fabric and upholstery, even some porous concrete. Plus, urine attracts bacteria, which can worsen the smell. When dealing with urine on your couch, treat it immediately or pay for the cost of a house cleaner. Most pros charge between $30 and $50 per hour.
