"Done-Rite did an asphalt & concrete install in our parking lot and did a fantastic job. Their pricing was conpetitive and the quality of their work exceeded our expectations. They were able to work within our scheduling requirements so we did not have to interupt our normal business. Nick was on site to make sure they did everything we asked and answer any questions we had. It's great a find a company that does what they promise, with excellent quality work. We would hearrtily recommend them, and expect to have them back for future projects."

"Sammson Concrete did an excellent job. My village is particularly difficult with concrete code and has some laws that I don't necessarily agree with with regards to reinforcement of concrete. Throughout the process I always felt like Sammson concrete had my best interest in mind, and went out of their way to ensure the best job possible would be performed. The driveway and garage came out looking great, and I think with a lesser company I may not have had such an easy time getting quality work done."

"Brian and his crew returned to my building on a warranty followup- their previous work done wonders for my flooding problems, but my foundation walls are apparently made of swiss cheese and there was one small seepage problem remaining which only shows up during a "100 year rain event".  Brian indicated that they go for 100%, not 99% and scheduled time to come back out to my building to address the issue under the warranty (a.k.a. free of charge) from the original work.  They came back out, dug up the foundation again, and found a crack hidden behind an old hasty concrete patching job that had been tarred over, which was determined to be causing the remaining seepage.  They repaired the crack and were done with the whole task in only hours.  I am a repeat customer, and can't say enough good things about Crawlspace and Basement Waterproofing solutions, they are friendly, helpful, and most of all, stand behind their work!

"Chuck is a consummate professional. After a ton of research into my water problem, I decided polyurea was the right solution. It's a newer technology but very convincing. Chuck even helped with his carpenter in sealing underneath wood siding and replaced the siding beautifully. Hi Tech was very responsive and got the job done efficiently. There was one area that needed a touch up after be job but Chuck responded immediately and is addressing it. I really can't speak highly enough of him- too many contractors are "get in, get out" but Chuck really cares about his work and follows up often. He takes a consultative approach that is second to none, I am extremely comfortable trusting him as I feel he is doing the best thing for the customer, not his own pocketbook. Fighting water issues is no fun and Polyurea is a long-term, but newer, solution and I hope it turns out well, but so far so good from the install side and would recommend High Tech highly as long as Chuck is running the operation.

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.

Your typical household tools will not cut a metal pipe. To cut a metal pipe, you’d need more specialized tools like a pipe cutter or circular saw. Do not attempt to use these tools without taking proper safety precautions and wearing safety gear. It’s usually safer to let a pro cut a metal pipe, especially if you’re not confident in your skills with a heavy-duty saw.

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.

To maintain custom or fabricated metal structures and extend their lifespan and appearance, perform regular cleaning, apply rust prevention treatments, and use protective coatings.

Yes, you can cut plexiglass by hand using a sharp knife or blade (utility knife, box cutter, glass cutter, etc.).
