"Of the six companies I talked with, TRC showed up on time to examine the site and provide an accurate estimate. Others did not show up. TRC was up front about a start date due to their work load. Due to our flexibility, they were able to fit our "small" job into their work flow earlier than thought. The job crew show up the day prior to review the job site and coordinate start times, material delivery and job completion. They started on time and completed the entire job in one day. Most excellent work. Very professional team. Would most definitely recommend."

"Kenny did a great job of ordering our materials and making changes a** needed. He met all his time commitments. He did a good job of communicating the status of the project. He left the area clean when done. Both of his helpers were very personable and did a great job. I will recommend New Frontier Fencing to my neighbors and friends."

"I had deep ruts left in my yard from having a large shed delivered and set He dug out the area and put drain rock down. It looks real nice, increased my paring area and gave me great access to my new shed He knocked it out in a day no problem and even removed a tree stump for me while he was there I would highly recommend his services for quality of work and pricing"

"Vaughn & his family are very knowledgeable about grading, brush removal & how to get it done efficiently. He brings in the equipment necessary even if it wasn't his original plan. We had about 1 1/2 acres of brush, weeds & debris that needed to be tamed. We had just moved in to this house & the back area by the basement door had been graded improperly causing water issues. Vaughn had the brush & debris cleared & disked under as well as the back area graded in short time. He has been a huge help to my daughter on her overgrown & unmanaged 6 acres as well. Will highly recommend Wild West in the future."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Land survey reports have a boatload of information relevant to several scenarios. Here are the types of information contained with a survey, though it depends on your chosen type of land survey. Exact boundaries and dimensions of a given property General topography, including both natural and artificial landmarks Location of utility fixtures, like water mains Confirmation of any easements or encroachments on a piece of property Assessment of land elevation to buy flood insurance Updated information to add to a pre-existing property map

To prepare for a land survey, you must thoroughly check your land surveyor’s qualifications, reviews, and fees to align with your expectations. When it is time for the survey to be conducted, ensure that you have all your documents organized and available, know and mark your property lines, and inform your neighbors that the survey is happening.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Your professional may lengthen your road to create switchbacks if the slope directly to your home is too steep, as there are regulations for maximum road slope. The drainage system will help prevent runoff from the higher side of the slope from damaging the asphalt or concrete. Keep in mind that building a road on a slope isn’t a good DIY project, as a lot can go wrong.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.
