"Matt and his crew did a very poor job laying the pavers for our patio. This was such a disappointment and still is as the stone pavers are buckling with latge cracks between them. An job done by ametuers whom he hired and rarely checked up on. My husband had to go out and tell them to use a chalk line or something to get straight seams. Matt had a bad attitude when he attempted to fix the patio pavers, it's a substandard job, the worst experience with a contractor ever!ever! I see he has great reviews, why ours turned out so badly is due to the unskilled workers he hired to do the work. "

Foremost Electric takes pride in the safety and longevity of your electrical system. Our comprehensive check list allows us to identify and repair any problem spots before they become disastrous to your home and family. The outdated philosophy of " if it is not broke, don't fix it" is just that; outdated. With regular scheduled maintenance program, our technicians will take the time to get to know your system. This saves time and money on any future repairs.

"Great parley hung our chandelier in no time. Price was very fair would hire them again in a heart best. Great job"

Outdoor Kitchens questions, answered by experts

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.

You can call a second kitchen many different names—butler’s pantry, scullery, prep kitchen, working kitchen, dirty kitchen, or even just second kitchen. In modern times, however, second kitchens are almost always called prep kitchens or small kitchens. However, the purpose of a second kitchen remains the same—prepare food and clean items “behind closed doors.”

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

DIY is possible for small setups, but professional services ensure proper gas, plumbing, and electrical work.

You can build an outdoor kitchen on a deck, but you should choose composite decking since it's more heat-resistant. Metal deck materials like steel and aluminum are also good choices because they're less flammable than wood. You should also consider the weight of the kitchen—make sure your deck can support it and any appliances you plan to use. You should consult a structural engineer to confirm exactly how much weight your deck can safely support when building an outdoor kitchen.
