We specialize in metal cutting, machining, welding, coating, and assembly of parts built from mild steel and some other types of metals. We maximize quality and efficiency by designing and building fixtures and using CNC equipment to get repeatable results. We also have a robotic welding system that allows for efficient welding of large quantities of parts. Our paint system is an electrostatic paint system that ensures full coverage even in the hard to reach areas. The parts then run through a bake cycle to ensure full cure of the paint before assembly or packaging.

Metal Fabrication and Restoration questions, answered by experts

Costs range from $500 to $10,000, depending on the type of metal, design complexity, and labor. Larger or more intricate projects require custom quotes.

Corrugated metal has been pressed so that it has alternating ridges or grooves. Metal that has undergone this process becomes incredibly strong, with some of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any material. It's lightweight and has an increased surface area when compared to a flat sheet of metal. Both of these attributes contribute to its coveted strength. It's used for fencing because it's weather- and impact-resistant, rarely needs maintenance, and lasts many years—for a relatively low cost.

Brass that is turning black is experiencing oxidation, a reaction caused by exposure to air. The oxygen found in air reacts with the metal and begins to cause discoloration that will become darker and more widespread with time. Regular cleaning will remove oxidation and prevent it from progressing on brass items.

Professionals ensure durability by selecting high-quality materials, precise fabrication, and proper finishing techniques. They perform meticulous installation and provide maintenance advice to extend the lifespan of metal installations.

If you don’t want to rely on paint to change the color of your stainless steel surface, there are a few other methods, but they require specialized equipment and skills. Some examples include powder coating, applying pigmented powder via an electrostatic gun, and electrostatic painting, which uses wet paints and has a less durable finish. The cost of powder coating is $40 to $600 per part, and electrostatic painting averages $60 per hour.
