"READ ENTIRE REVIEW BEFORE CONCIDERING Wood Windows!! Wood Windows Inc. is a company that I would NOT recommend to anyone based on my experience with them. The installation process of all of the doors and windows that I purchased from them took an excessive amount of time, from January 2021 to January 2022, due to multiple errors made by Wood Windows employees and its affiliates. The installation process was filled with mistakes and issues. The windows were not properly trimmed on the exterior, the laundry room door was installed backwards, the front door was not what I ordered and resulted in 4+ installations and corrections, the hardware was not what we chose and had to be replaced due to all the damages, the interior trim was cut 1/2" short BUT still installed, the garage door was damaged because it hit the frame and still rubs on the hinge side of the frame. We would not recommend Wood Windows for any installation and will tell anyone to stay clear."

ATKINSON'S MIRROR & GLASS REMAINS A FAMILY BUSINESS. Subsequent to the health-related retirement of Vernon in 1966 and Warren’s unexpected death about six months later, W. Stanley “Stan” Bowman (Warren’s son-in-law) and Dale Reynolds joined the company as shareholders in 1970 and 1975 respectively. Another of the original shareholders, J. Preston, retired in 1973. A third generation of Atkinsons joined the operation when Rick Atkinson (Milt's son) became a shareholder in 1981 and Dan Atkinson (Weldon's son) did so in 1985. After 41 years with the business, Milt retired in 1993 and the last original shareholder, Weldon, retired in 1995. "We purchased two new sliding glass doors at a home show. We wanted to replace ours because they were hard to slide open and closed. We have been VERY UNSATISFIED with Amazing Exteriors and REGRET ever buying them! They were a month late with the installation and never updated us to tell us when they would be coming. I had called Jim a few weeks after they were supposed to be here to try and get an update. He didn’t even tell me a date or even a week to expect them, he just said “soon”. The day of the installation he texted that morning and asked if Raul had called. I had no idea who Raul was and he never called to let me know, just pushed all the responsibility to Raul. I had only a few hours notice that they would be starting that same day. Jim didn’t communicate with Raul about the direction the doors were supposed to slide so they were installed opposite of what we had confirmed via email. Jim had the audacity to say that this was my fault because I was there, because I work from home, so I should have told him. Apparently I was supposed to take the day off and supervise his crew because he couldn’t be bothered to do his job. If that was what is expected of their customers, which is ridiculous, they should give them more than a few hours heads up. The doors do not shut all the way unless you lock them. They sort of bounce back about 1/8” because the weather stripping sits on top of the latch plate. You can see through from the outside to the inside trim on one of them unless it is locked. We were told that this was normal. Who wants a door that doesn’t shut all the way unless you lock it??! The handle is metal and gets too hot so you can’t even use it. I am very unsatisfied and wish I had never replaced the doors in the first place. In no world would I have thought that the 30-year-old vinyl doors would have been better than the 15,000 ones that I bought today. That is a lot to pay for something that makes you mad every time you use it. Raul the installer was good to work with but I can not say the same for Jim the engineer. He was rude, defensive, and didn’t really try to resolve the issue just said that it was supposed to be that way. He never even apologized for the mistake of installing them the opposite way, just blamed it on me. I spent hours of my workday worrying about the doors and trying to work with Raul to solve the issue. Now I’m stuck with doors that don’t shut. I should have taken a trip to Europe instead with all that extra money I had laying around."
