Offers commercial services

I have 7 years of tile experience, I can work anywhere in the treasure valley. I know how to do backsplashes, showers, fireplaces, floors. I know how to do residential and commercial. I currently work for Mesa Tile & Stone Company. I think I’m a good fit for the job because I like to do my job right and make sure that the customer is satisfied with the tile.

Honest and skilled. 7 years experience in tile and flooring. I'm an Ironworker. Worked on large commercial projects(high rises, bridges, midrise). I come with variety of certificates (welding,first-aid,signalling,rigging). Lots of classroom hours and training that cross relates into pretty much anything.I currently had to step away from ironwork due to large changes in my personal life. Im capable and willing to do any job big or small.

"I went into the showroom many times and got a lot of help from the designers there. They really took a lot of time with me looking at options and giving advice. They also seem to have adequate staff, and the store is busy, so it's nice to be able to get help. We ordered an expensive tile and when we got it laid out realized some of the order would not work in the pattern we had hoped. The manager helped us find a solution and was really great to work with. Plus their tile is gorgeous! I love walking through the showroom. I would definitely go there again next time we do a project."

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

Signs of mold under silicone caulk include discoloration or dark spots appearing through or around the caulk, a musty odor in the area, and visible growth on the surface of the caulk. Additionally, if the caulk feels soft or spongy, it could indicate moisture trapped underneath, which is a breeding ground for mold.

Most grout sealers last one to two years before they need reapplication. For wet areas such as a bathroom or shower, you should reapply grout sealer at least once a year. In areas of your home that don't see as much moisture or traffic, the grout can go up to two years before it needs resealing.

When cleaning porcelain tiles, avoid products that contain ammonia, bleach, and other harsh chemicals. Acid-based cleansers can damage the tile, though you can clean them with a diluted mixture of one-quarter cup white vinegar mixed with one gallon of hot water. It is important always to use a soft-bristled brush or sponge, since hard bristles and steel wool can scratch the tile.

You want the bonding process to get started but not finish before wiping away newly applied grout. That process takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Use a wet cloth or sponge to remove the grout, but keep in mind that it will continue to dry and cure. Drying and curing times vary by the type of grout, so read through the instructions to know when it’s safe to walk on or use the room in which you tiled.

Grout is a type of material that fills the joints between tiles to promote stability and prevent water damage and debris from collecting between tiles. Most grout is made from cement, but you have other options, including epoxy, acrylic, and polymers that can give grout different properties that best protect your floor, bathroom, or kitchen tiles.
