"Work was performed on schedule as quoted. Kept me up to date as project progressed. Did a fantastic job which really enhanced our homes efficiency. Lower lever of home is dry and temperature stays consistent on both levels now. Premier Basement System has completely eliminated the damp musty odor in our home and eliminated any concerns of water or moisture in the crawl space. Additionally the system seals off the crawl space from bugs. Yes, crawl spaces can attract bugs, especially since moisture tends to build up in the space, and moisture attracts pests. If there is standing liquid on your concrete, remove it before attempting any of the above cleaning methods. For small amounts of water, use rags, a bucket, and a mop. For larger areas of liquid, lay down cat litter or baking soda to soak up the water first. If you have extremely large pools of water sitting on your concrete, break out the wet vac and get to work.

Topical sealers adhere to the surface of concrete to create a protective layer. In many cases, this is all you need for concrete that sees light to moderate traffic, such as your basement. Penetrating sealers, on the other hand, bond with the free lime in the top layer of concrete to form calcium silicate, which prevents liquid from passing through. This type of sealer protects the surface from water, oil, and gasoline spills.

A sump pump can be added to an existing basement. To do this, you will need to use a jackhammer or sledgehammer to break up the concrete and dig a pit. You will also need to create a hole in your basement wall to run the discharge pipe through.
