"The provider, Dylan Franz, was about 45 minutes late showing up. He brought another man with him. I thought all was going well, til I stepped out to check on his progress. The roof beams of the gazebo were damaged, especially one beam. I told Dylan this wasn’t acceptable and asked him how he was going to make this right. He suggested reinforcing the beam with another board, and he would come back after I ordered a replacement beam and replace it. I didn’t know what else to do, so I agreed, and he proceeded with the assembly. He knocked on my door around 9:30 pm to inform me that all was done and to give him a call, and he’d help me repair and correct the damage. I paid him, along with a tip for him and his fellow worker. The gazebo looked complete to my untrained eye. The sight was cleaned up with no extra materials or pieces left in sight. The cardboard boxes that the kit came in were all gone, so it looked like it was completed. I was going through the manual for the gazebo a few days later to get the item number for the damaged beam when I noticed additional items that were supposed to be on the roof. I’ve ordered and paid for the missing items, and now I am facing finding another provider to correct and complete the gazebo assembly. I’m left feeling scammed and very dissatisfied with my experience."

"He arrived on time and was clean and courteous. The bunk bed came with "instructions" but were a real mess. He had THE BEST attitude about the whole thing. It took about 30 minutes longer than anticipated, but he was very transparent as to why (all the bad instructions). He was very careful with all the pieces. It would have take us all day and he knocked it out in a couple of hours and was so pleasurable to be around. We plan to hire him for additional work in our new home. In fact, he did a walk through while he was here and suggested a doggy door solution that's going to save us a lot of money."

I have the skills and tools needed to do anything you need or want! Home repairs, maintenance, improvements and major remodels. Keep in mind that I am experienced and fast at what I do. I am up front with my rate and I never markup material costs. Original receipts are always provided for materials, specialty tool rentals and additional costs such as dumping fees, etc. My hourly rate is a flat $25hr($15 for hours over 8 a day if i have to stay over 8hrs to finish up a job)...it saves you upto $30 I will provide a material list and pick up material for $25 to $75 (some people believe this should be done for free but when it takes an extra hour or two or three and gas it adds up and at my already low hourly rate I cannot afford to do this for free without losing money). Also, I can haul off tear out material but again it takes time and dumping costs. The price for hauling a truck load is $25 plus the dump fee which costs between $20 and $65 depending on the material and weight. Receipts are always provided for materials, tool rentals and additional services. Also, beware of under experienced, low skilled wannabe handymaners. Craigslist is full of them.
