He had a great attitude, we joked around a bit, but he maintained the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. It didn't cost as much as I'd feared and when I left he was helping the lady parked beside me to get her car started. I would definitely call them again if needed

"Needed to replace Main drive gear. Do not carry in stock and cannot order it (Wayne Dalton). Said can't get too old etc. I found it online for $40 with the entire parts list for the machine. A little disappointed I was not told that and of course the only alternative was to buy an entire new machine at $400 or $600. I guess if you list yourself as a repair company you should do repair and not just replace. I'm in the construction industry and this is one of our rental houses, I was on the phone but not at the site. Paid via credit card but still have not received a receipt after contacting three times. However the charge has already gone through. However best intention this company is.. my suggestion would be to use the company or manufacturer of your current garage door it will save you a lot of money. In my case 3 to $400. One of the downsides is they have a national phone scheduling subcontractor which can get confusing at times and they are not very knowledgeable concerning their products.

"I did a lot of research before selecing a security company - we were looking for a home security/fire alarm system. The bottom line is you get what you pay for. You can order equipment through a company like Protect America and the equipment is basically free but the monitoring is a little higher priced than Allied or ADT. The catch is you install it yourself and I wanted something that was professionally installed. As far as alarm systems, we quickly narrowed our search to ADT and Allied. Both were very professional and reasonablly priced - although there really is no such thing as a $99 security system unless you only need 3 sensors. I'm guessing most people are like us and need more. Ultimately we went with Allied and the deciding factor was that they are local and that the representative from Allied was better at identifying the particular points of risk at our house and thought of some key points that no one else did. The system was installed properly and looks and works great, the customer service has been excellent as well. I also appreciated that they didn't bash ADT, although of course they did provide reasons why they felt they would be a better fit - but it was done in a positive way. I would recommend Allied.
