"HORRIBLE experience. For the record this is her daughter. She was too nice to post the poor review, but They brag about their customer satisfaction and making things right. It was not “made right” in this service. There was poor communication between the two owners to start off with. Quoted by one owner, then when the other one shows up to do the work, starts guilt-tripping my mom about how she was under quoted. Felt talked down to as a woman. Was also told work would take 2 days- it took a week. We took EVERYTHING out of the garage and stacked it on side of house. While they did spend a good bit of time on sanding the garage, the caulk job was crap, the follow through absent, and absolutely NO professionalism. Now stuck with ugly-caulked floors. Would NOT HIRE again or recommend. See photos. They kept assuring us they would clean up caulk. See their work below!"

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Yes, asphalt is less expensive than concrete. Asphalt prices range between $7 and $15 per square foot, whereas concrete costs $3 to $18 per square foot. When considering asphalt versus concrete driveways, you’ll want to weigh more than just the costs. While concrete costs more, it costs less to maintain. On the other hand, asphalt has the advantages of a quick installation and shorter drying time.

The cost to install a concrete driveway is $4 to $15 per square foot on average. Your price heavily depends on your desired concrete finish and driveway size.

For a driveway that is 200 square feet, you can expect to pay an average cost of $1,900. For a driveway at double that size (400 square feet), the average price is closer to $3,800. Plain concrete is significantly more cost-effective, averaging $7 per square foot, whereas stained concrete averages around $19 per square foot.

Yes, it's best to use a carbide-tipped masonry bit when drilling into concrete. These bits are harder and more durable than standard bits, so they're designed for drilling into tough surfaces like concrete. A different bit is likely to break and pose a safety hazard so you'll definitely want to stick with one that's specially designed for concrete.

Yes, adding water to concrete will increase its slump, so you should do so with caution. Always measure the slump of the concrete batch before you adjust it, and be sure not to add too much and push the slump too high. Doing so can cause the aggregate to separate, set inconsistently, or shrink.

Concrete blemishes such as chipped steps or small cracks are fixable with patching. For bigger jobs, including driveway repair and cracks wider than a 1/4 of an inch, patches will only serve as a temporary fix. Resurfacing is ideal when the surface is showing more widespread wear—like if it’s pitted, rough, or has lots of cracks. Resurfacing gives your concrete a fresh, like-new appearance without needing a full replacement.

When the concrete is severely cracked, sinking, or otherwise structurally unsound, replacing it might be your best option. Replacement ensures the safety and longevity of the surface in this case.
