He had a good personality and my husband and I were impressed by his non-pressuring free estimate. After we chose Dave to do our project, he stayed in contact with us and had a willing attitude to get the job done, even though our small project was a small paycheck than others he probably had. He framed in, leveled and put gravel in on a Tuesday and by Wednesday after lunch we had the concrete curing/drying. He had one co-worker with him and they seemed to stay professional. A concrete truck came to deliver the load. There was some concrete that spilled on the driveway but that was to be expected. He did it and he did it super quick! The only bad thing we found, and we know it was an accident, was our hose was left on for a couple hours. Mike's Lawn service did a great job for us for a few years, unfortunately they closed up the company last October (2016) when Mike graduated and couldn't do it any longer. I don't know if anyone else took over the company since it was a bunch of college students.

Came and tore out old concrete and was planning on finishing the job the next day, but because my old driveway had been so broken and cracked, the ground underneath was so wet it was almost mud. So they waited a week while the ground dried out. Then came and prepped the ground put gravel down...

I have not been real happy with them. I think they fixed it okay. They had to have a concrete subcontractor fix the concrete because it had to go to the street. I wasn't happy with the job the concrete company did. They didn't get back with me in a timely manner when I started complaining...

FAQs for concrete patio work projects in Bonners Ferry, ID
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of mudjacking is around $5per square foot of concrete, with most concrete leveling jobs totaling between $3 and $8per square foot. The typical cost to fix a sinking portion of concrete slab with mudjacking is around $1,100. The price you’ll pay depends on the size of the concrete slab you need to be leveled, the accessibility of the slab, and the type of material your contractor uses beneath the concrete to lift it back into place.
A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.
Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.
In most cases, no, mudjacking is not possible as a DIY job. Not only do you need specialized equipment to cut into your slab and pump the cementitious material underneath it, but it’s also a challenging process, and the consequences of making mistakes include additional structural damage to your home. It’s possible to rent mudjacking equipment to attempt a DIY repair, but the risk of added property damage usually isn’t worth the money you’ll save on labor, especially if the concrete you’re lifting is a part of your home’s foundation.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
