Weeks of persistent wind had brought down so many limbs and sticks from my 2 big old sycamore trees, I could not keep up with the work of cleaning up after them, so in a moment of utter exhaustion, I searched for a tree service to consider taking them down. Eli called and came in very short order to assess the job, and right off the bat, he asked if I was a veteran because they like to give a 10% veterans discount. Well, I am a veteran, but nobody had ever asked me that before with any service that I had ever used for anything. My spur of the moment decision to get those trees down was one of the best I have ever made. I have never seen such hard working, considerate and respectful young men, and they were diligent at cleaning up, leaving the area looking much better than it had before. A month later, a big limb fell from on old tree in my front yard took out my power line and made a big mess,, And this happened after the power company had already trimmed out what they considered threatening limbs.
