"The job done was very professional. The amount of trimming 20 plus feet in the air was done to perfection. We had two huge maple trees trimmed, the lower tree had a 10" branch remove that was located over the frozen canal plus allot of other branches and limbs removed.. The front yard tree was trimmed and thinned out where we wanted it to be. All the limbs and debris were removed to make it as if nothing was cut and all logs and tree branches cut up for firewood were stacked where we wanted them. I would highly recommend this company for any tree cutting services. We were very pleased with the service and will definitely hire them again in the future if needed. We will recommend them to anyone who asks where we got out tree trimmed from."

"Prompt and efficient. He was not able to fix my microwave, as it was too far gone, but he did install my new microwave into the cabinet for me. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely call on him again."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

A tree can split because of high winds, a change in temperature, or from an infestation or tree disease. All of these factors can overlap, making a single cause difficult to pinpoint. While winter storms are some of the most common causes for a tree to split, it can also happen because of termites or rot.

Yes, it can be good to remove dead branches from trees. Dead branches can lead to rot in other areas of the tree. They can also cause damage if they fall on a house, shed, fence, car, pool, or other structure or property. However, it’s important that dead branch removal is done safely. If the branch is high in a tree or requires a lift or ladder to access, consider calling a professional tree removal company, as they will have the experience and equipment to do the job safely.

Debris removal is often included in the overall cost of having a tree removed from your property. However, tree maintenance service companies do not always include debris removal in their pricing, so ask any contractors offering tree trimming cost estimates whether or not removal is included. If you want to keep the wood mulch, ask if they charge extra for it as well.

Yes, tree roots can regenerate after they’re pruned or cut. In fact, trimming can stimulate new growth, especially in healthy trees. The tree’s roots can still grow back even after a tree is cut down, (and learning how to get rid of regrowing tree roots is a separate feat). Still, if you don’t wish to harm a tree, pruning the roots should be done with extreme care, and ideally by a professional.

Trees provide many benefits, including shade, habitat for local wildlife, and cleaner air, so it’s always a good idea to try an alternative strategy like crown reduction before you chop one down. But sometimes, cutting down a tree is the only option (like if it’s severely diseased). A licensed arborist can assess the tree and recommend the best course of action.
