We are well known for our service and quality - providing the best of the best whether it be a full custom home, or a reside project for someone's existing home. The inspiration behind Showtime Homes came from the need to bring better systems and a refined process to the Home Building industry, and most importantly with energy.  The Showtime name is based on the premise that the time is NOW, and action is the only way to move the needle.  This correlates well with the need to push through roadblocks that often arise while building a home, and having the ability to navigate through those challenges, maintain communication, and keep the process moving on the intended timeline.  The platform Buildertrend is an example of the many tools we use to keep information organized, schedule labor and material deliveries, and provide scheduling and cost transparency.  Our business is predicated on the trusted partners we surround ourselves with in an effort to build an efficient home, with a lean process, and do so in a timely manner.

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

The regulations for pool fence heights vary by state, so be sure to research what the legal, minimum height is in your area before purchasing or installing a fence. Though every region is different, generally a pool fence must be at least 4 and ½ feet high. If you’re unsure whether you need a fence around your pool, and how high that fence should be, contact a local pool enclosure expert to help you successfully, and safely, move forward.

Check with your local laws, which might state that you have to build a fence around your plunge pool. If you have children or pets or live in an area with abundant wildlife, you should consider building a fence around your pool for safety. Pools can present a drowning hazard, and while plunge pools are not very deep, younger children can get hurt if they try to dive into them. A fence can help protect your family and visitors from injury.

Evaporation causes up to 70% of outdoor pools’ energy losses, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. While you can’t completely prevent evaporation, different types of pool covers can help a lot. Pool enclosures, however, don’t do much to stop evaporation—and the cost to build a pool enclosure likely won’t tempt you to try.

Sustainable materials and energy-efficient designs support greener construction options.

Depending on your budget, wants, and needs, a pool enclosure can be a worthwhile investment. It all comes down to how much you use your pool, and what it would mean to you to have year-round access to it.

If you know that you'll swim in your pool a lot, then having an enclosure means you don't have to worry about the weather. It's also a lot easier to maintain the water, because you don't have to deal with leaves falling into the pool, and the water's chemical levels tend to be more stable.
