"Windows cleaned but was quoted a price and 10 days later got additional bill because of extra windows. We discussed the number of windows when we booked them and I was given the price. Not happy about additional bill."

"Tristan responded the same day to my request for services for window washing and power washing. Within less than 24 hours he provided us with a very fair quote and the job was completed on the very next good weather day. He is very polite, and conscientious. Tristan definitely takes pride in his work puts safety first. I would recommend him 100% and will call on him again when we need the jobs done."

"My sister-in-law recommended Top Job Services for house cleaning. I have been very impressed with the professionalism of the company and the quality of the services they provide. They have cleaned my home twice now. A team of five ladies arrives and they clean thoroughly and quickly. The scheduling and payment through the main office is friendly and efficient. The crew brings a fresh set of color-coded microfiber cloths for each house, so they are conscious of sanitary practices. I have also used Top Job Services for carpet and upholstery cleaning. The service person is knowledgeable and very professional.

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Most jobs take 2-8 hours, depending on the number of windows, height, and difficulty of access.

Generally speaking, you should clean your windows and any associated fixtures and treatments every six months. Otherwise, clean them as needed to keep everything running smoothly. If you live in a part of the country with especially hard water, you may have to clean them three or four times per year, and the same goes for areas where insects, pollen, dirt, and other debris can soil your windows and potentially cause issues with the moving parts.

Window washing usually refers to cleaning dirt and other debris off of the exterior of your windows, while window cleaning is a much more involved process that addresses the outside and inside of the glass, as well as the interior components. Window washing is more to improve the aesthetic of your windows, while window cleaning can improve performance, reduce the risk of damage over time, and even improve your home’s energy efficiency.

Well water can leave ugly marks on your window. A vinegar-water spray will remove most well water stains from your windows. However, you can also use a baking soda paste if the stain is too stubborn. Consider applying waterproofing protection to the glass surface after cleaning for long-term protection. A protective film or spray layer also makes it easier to remove the water stains next time.

Clean the outside of your home at least once a year. If you live in an area with salty sea air, high levels of pollen, or an abundance of leaves in the fall, it's helpful to wash it at least two times a year. Frequent cleanings will allow you to remove debris and pests before they flourish into infestations, or cause mold and mildew.
