"I hired Sunset Tree Service to remove about 10 very large trees that were too close to my house. These trees were mostly over 50 feet tall. I was out of town during the Deracho in 2020 and it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to get through Cedar Rapids and I thought my house probably would be destroyed. Luckily we only had branches down and a few small trees. After the second Deracho this December I decided it was time to do something. Jake Borntreger gave me a real reasonable quote and him and his helpers took down all the trees, shredded all the brush and took out all stumps. It only took them 4 days to complete the project. They are real hard workers and have good equipment. I kept all the wood as I heat my shop mainly with wood. They also gave some friends of ours that we recommended them to a quote for some tree removal. Tree was a huge pin oak which he took down safely, ground out stump and filled in with dirt.
