"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"Chase was in contact with me from the go. He was always positive and polite. On moving day Chase and John packed up my furniture quickly and put it in their truck neatly and gently. They even disconnected my washer and dryer for me. At the new house they quickly unpacked the truck put furniture where I wanted. They moved the old washer dryer into the garage and moved mine in. They would have connected them, but the plug and outlet didnt match. I would highly recommend Bennett's Moving!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Planning your office move should ideally start three to six months or more in advance. This timeframe allows plenty of time for tasks such as researching moving companies, creating a budget, coordinating with employees, decluttering and organizing, packing, and addressing any logistical challenges. Starting early also ensures that you have flexibility in scheduling and can handle unexpected hiccups that may arise during the planning process.

It can be tempting to want to help your movers as they pack or transport your belongings, but in general, most movers prefer their customers to stay out of the way. Rest assured that your movers are confident in their skills and the process will likely go faster without your help. If you see something concerning, let your movers know right away so they can adjust or remedy the issue.

Focus on decluttering when downsizing to move cross-country. Selling, donating, or recycling unwanted items early in your moving process is key to your success. If you are on the fence about some items, consider storage options, or you can ship these items separately to lessen your load.

The best way to transport plants when moving is to prep them properly, cover the soil, pack them tightly in boxes, and take extra precautions depending on state plant regulations, weather, and distance. You should be sure to fill in the gaps around your plants to minimize movement during transit and plan to unpack them shortly after arriving at your destination.

To treat office moving costs as capital expenses, which means recording them as assets, they must meet certain rules: they need to be essential for the business to keep running, directly related to the move, reasonable, and documented properly with invoices and contracts. These costs can include packing, transportation, and setting up the new office. Once these expenses are capitalized, they're treated like assets on the books and gradually accounted for over time through depreciation or amortization.
