We hired Weston and his crew to help us with our blown-in insulation project. We had to remove the existing stuff, which was old and had gotten wet.. First thing I liked is that Weston called me within minutes of requesting the quotes. He spent about a half hour asking questions about our situation and explaining the different levels of service they could provide. This allowed me to do further research on my own, in addition to asking good questions to other companies submitting proposals. Based on that, we had him come out and do a thorough inspection. He was the only one who explained things like how the baffles should be installed (ours were jacked from storm damage), and why an air seal is a good idea. Apples to apples, he was less than other contractors. We hired his crew, and they came out the following weekend. They were all extremely courteous. The lead crewman even invited me to check their work at any point, which Iâ ve never experienced before. It gave me confidence that they were competent and proud of the work they were doing. It made for a very good communication experience throughout the two-day job. They did run into some unexpected issues. There was some previously unseen batting that they had to remove in addition to the cellulose that they took out. It extended the length of the job a little, but was otherwise no big deal. Finally, they did an immaculate clean up job. They walked over the entire driveway and garage with a shop vac and got every stray bit of insulation, plus some stuff they probably didnâ t track in themselves. Itâ s been a couple of weeks since completion. Weâ ve had some very cool nights, and our furnace has kicked on maybe once, it has made a world of difference. All in all, we had a great experience with them. Would hire again.

Weston is professional, friendly and super easy to work with. He returns texts or call asap. He sets a start date and the crew shows up. They do good work and clean up after themselves. We would definitely recommend to others.

Weston was great and very knowledgeable. We had a few communication issues with the guys doing the work and weston not knowing when they would show up but they did a great job and cleaned up well before they left. Very professional and did a great job.

Remove and install blown in insulation after derecho damage. Came in with the best bid (lowest with a higher R value) and provided a detailed write up to insurance to get the project fully covered. Came extremely promptly and great communication. Would highly recommend Wes and his crew!

Appreciated talking through options and the installation process. Our attic needed a lot of work and McKee provided the most comprehensive work plan for the price sought. Was also good to work with as a contractor and responsive which was appreciated.

We needed our attic insulation replaced after the 2020 derecho. McKee came in as the lowest bid with better quality (higher R value) than 2 other local companies. They also spotted some roof issues that the other companies did not and we were able to get that fixed prior to McKee starting the insulation job. Weston and his crew were fabulous during the work, being very respectful of the fact we are still working from home. McKee also recommended some improvements (canned light and speaker covers as well as access hole covers) to further improve our overall rating. Install and cleanup were both top notch I would highly recommend McKee for this type of work!
