I would not recommend due to the lack of communication and time management, I was scheduled for for an early appointment and no one showed, after I called it was pushed multiple times after that. I did agree to the price, but after consulting others I paid way too much for what was done. When it came time for the gentleman to collect payment you bet he was ontime, even a bit early."

"Nate and his crew were awesome. They had some of the summer's worst heat, rain, etc and they still appeared each and everyday on time and ready to work. We've had so many people tell us how fantastic the house looks. They fixed problems that we didn't even realize were problems (like a hornets nest under an overhang). We would definitely hire them again, and in fact are already planning what we would like to have done next. Never did they ask for payment up front, not even a deposit. That's just not heard of these days. The office staff, specifically Liz, was there to walk us through all the different financing options available, and was a true pleasure to work with. We went with a higher end product versus vinyl siding, we cannot get over the difference it has made in our gas and electric bill as well as how quiet our home is now. Again, we would highly recommend them."

The cost of wood siding varies by the type of wood. Engineered wood siding tends to be in the middle of typical costs ($3 to $7 per square foot for materials). Hardwoods, for instance, can cost $5 to $20 per square foot for materials alone, but cedar wood can be as cheap as $3 per square foot.

Composite siding is very resistant to warping that can affect some other sidings. You’ll know it’s time to replace your siding when you see widespread damage, notice signs of water intrusion, or have a spike in energy costs.

You should install your cedar shake siding with the rough side exposed. The smooth side is less resistant to weathering over the years, and the rough side gives your home a more rugged aesthetic. The rough side also takes to paint better and ensures any paint job will last longer before needing to be redone.
