"I reached out on a Sunday afternoon, got a phone call within 30 minutes, and came to my house 1 hr later to give me a price. We agreed, scheduled the job, took down 2 trees, several branches from other trees 4 days later. 3 days later got a phone call asking if we'd like them to come over then, the came over in the early afternoon, worked until dark. Came back the next day, cut the 2 trees down, cut all the wood up, loaded up and disposed of all the branches. Then they used rakes to clean the yard, and used a blower to clean the driveway. One thing that really impressed me is that before they cut down the tree, you see the owner in, he knocked on our door to make sure that once the tree came down, if any of the branches encroached on the neighbour's yard for the short time they would need to clean it up did we think that was ok. Who thinks of things like this? Took 1 1/2 days, 3 workers, complete, neat job, was concerned about leaving no debris. Have already refered him."

"They removed 3 very large trees that were near several buildings. They determined that at least one of the trees was a risk to the nearby houses so rearranged their schedule to take them down as soon as possible. They were very efficient in takimg down the trees safely. They completely cleaned up all of the branches and trunk pieces. The team was very efficient, friendly and professional in doing this job. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service."

"Family owned business, and the owner obviously started at the bottom, he knows the business and he knows trees. They removed a huge old tree from between two houses (which was a tricky job) The crew was very professional, careful with our property and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I highly recommend this company!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Most plum trees are pruned into a vase or open wine glass shape. They’ll have a shorter central leader (the trunk) that supports three to four main branches. Of course, this isn't always the case. If you have a European plum tree, you can grow it in a pyramid shape. Let the central leader extend the length of the tree and prune smaller branches to create the pyramid.

A few signs a tree may be dead is if the leaves are dead and there are no signs of new blooms. You can also perform a scratch test on some of the branches to check the condition of the cambium layer beneath the bark.

If it is green, it is still alive, but if several are dry, brittle, and brown, the tree may be dying or dead. Always consult an arborist before assuming your tree is dead because you may be able to save it.

You should prune ornamental trees once every other year after the fruit has matured and begun to drop. You should also prune out dead branches whenever you see them. Pruning too often can stimulate more growth, especially in faster growing varieties like Bradford pears.

You can remove a small tree from your yard if there’s space for the tree to fall, you have the right tools and safety equipment, and you follow a clear plan of action. You’ll just want to follow the steps above carefully, and ideally, you will have experience doing similar tasks. If you have any doubts that you can do this project safely, though, you should hire a pro.

The amount of time it takes for a tree trunk to rot depends on several factors, including the tree’s size, species, and environmental conditions. It can take anywhere from a few years to several decades for a tree’s trunk to rot. A tree stump, on the other hand, can take up to 10 years to disappear after it’s decayed naturally.
