When we called him, he said he couldn't guarantee how long the seal coating would last, but he would come take a look at it. He never showed up, even after several calls. The driveway looks as bad now as it did before he did the seal coating. $1,000 for 8 months of seal coating is way over priced.

The tremendous size of the tree, it's proximity to the house which we continued to occupy, and the difficult location on a steep hill, made the removal of the tree dangerous and challenging. The hauling and disposal of the debris was hampered by a narrow and steep driveway. Everything had to be removed by hand labor and chain saws (without cranes or other machinery), and removal with pick-up trucks. The owner Joel Johnston responded quickly to our emergency with a bid that satisfied the insurance company. Each day, the crew was on time, were organized with a game plan, and brought everything they needed. They were prompt, energetic, cheerful and courteous (they even tarped the roof and cut up the logs for firewood). They kept the debris contained, worked quickly, and cleaned up each day. We've used this company to trim our trees for decades, and they've always done a great job. Highly recommended!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ca/valencia/johnston-tree-and-landscape-reviews-182897.htm"},"position":5},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Tyndall Tree Services","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"HI","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Andrew L."},"reviewBody":"Everything went GREAT! I really like the fact that Allen Tyndall showed up on time, and personally performed all of the tricky tree removal himself. He had two of his employees with him, and it was a true team effort. Without a doubt, I had a difficult tree to be removed. However, Mr. Tyndall and his crew made it look very easy. Everything went extremely well, and the problem tree is now history. My backyard looks great now! It should be noted that this firm has the latest, state-of-the-art tree removal equipment. They are also fully insured. Overall, I give this firm a very big Thumbs Up! The price was very fair. In my opinion, this firm is truly a class act. I will definitely use them again. Oh, one last thing... They did a very good job in cleaning up the tree debris after all of the tree removal (and chipping) was completed. They even blew off my driveway as well a portion of my cull-de-sac!!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nc/pittsboro/tyndall-tree-services-reviews-8258209.htm"},"position":6}]}
They were very efficient. The driveway came out exactly how we wanted it. They also put up a retaining wall for us which also turned out great. They were courteous , friendly and prompt. The cost was also very acceptable. I would highly recommend Kelii Kai Maui Services. This company has...
Great customer service - I talked to the owner asked a lot of questions via phone & email. Very responsive. He sent in his technician, Ryan, and I couldn't be more happy with Ryan's service. Very professional and I could tell that he's been doing this quite awhile. Installation for a 1/3 acre...

An asphalt driveway should last 25 to 30 years, depending on the type of asphalt used, the climate, how well the foundation was prepared, the type of soil under the foundation, and how well you maintain your driveway. Maintaining asphalt by filling cracks and reapplying sealer every few years can help extend the life of your asphalt driveway.
When hiring an asphalt paving contractor to install your driveway, ask as many questions up front as possible. Here are a few questions to ask a prospective driveway contractor:
How many years of experience do you have?
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Do you have worker’s compensation?
Do you use subcontractors on your projects?
Do you clean up after the job is done?
Who is responsible for any damage to lawn or landscaping?
Do you provide a guarantee or warranty on your work?
Do you give free estimates?
What is the timeline for completion?
How do you handle change orders?
Can you provide at least three references?
Can I see some of the work you’ve done?
An asphalt driveway should be at least 3 inches thick over a compacted gravel base. Areas with poor drainage should have a thicker stone base. To install a new asphalt driveway over an existing driveway, the new asphalt should be at least 2 inches thick and the existing driveway should be in relatively good condition.
An asphalt driveway costs about $7 to $15 per square foot, including labor and materials. The cost will vary depending on your location, how thick the base material is, what prep is required, the thickness of the asphalt, and the accessibility of the job site. The national average cost to install an asphalt driveway is about $4,740.
