Went better than expected. While working on the two trees contracted to be taken down & removed they discovered a 3rd tree next to one of the targeted trees that was in need of coming down. They removed it at no extra cost to me. They ran everything through thier huge shredder and when they left my yard looked neat and clean. Very professional -- know what they're doing and do it well. Would definitely rehire them.

He came out to give us a quote on the service we needed. HIs recommendation was to remove the 2 trees as they would only grow back in a couple years if they were just topped off and we'd have to do this again. The cost to remove the 2 trees was only slightly higher than trimming so we decided to have them removed. As his price was reasonable and since we had used his service back in 2008 we asked him to remove the trees. As it was a busy time he said it might be up to two weeks before he could do the job but if they had an opening he would let me know. About a week later he called to say they could be out the next day around noon. Right on time he and his crew of 2 men and 2 trucks appeared in our driveway. One truck carried a boom for high access and the other towed a very large shredder on the back of the truck where the shredded material would be captured. They got right to work and in less than 2 hours had taken not only the 2 trees discussed down but a 3rd that was dying which was next to one of the designated trees. And he did the 3rd tree at no extra cost. They cleaned up all the debris and left our yard looking like it did when they arrived. No damage was done to bushes, house or anything else. Very nice to work with and all were very professional -- clearly enjoyed their work.

Alan was busy in the post-storm period and it took 2 days to get to us for the estimate. Alan is friendly and professional. He and his crew came in a bucket crane truck with a chipper. They took down the trees methodically and safely, mulched the wood and cleaned up after the job. I recommend Alan for tree assessment and removal.

They were excellent. Mr Tyndall gave a reasonable estimate to remove 2 Bradford pear trees that were splitting apart . On the day of the job they arrived promptly & cut down the 2 trees very quickly. Afterward, they cleaned up the yard very well. Looking at the yard, you would never guess 2 trees had just been cut down. I would highly recommend.

Tyndall Tree Services did an excellent job. He does a real good job, he is very efficient, he is very sensitive to the people that he is working with, he works very hard to achieve the goal.

I have had the good fortune to use Alan Tyndall's tree service on a couple of major projects over the last few years. | |We had a horrific wind storm move through town one afternoon in late July last year. The winds were so fierce that a number of 100'+ tall, long-needle pines around the house were bent dangerously with the top of one broken off laying across the driveway and others leaning way over close to the house. | |It was late in the day before I got home to assess the situation. I called Alan right away and he came directly over to the house within 30 minutes. He assessed the situation, we agreed on a price and he was over first thing the next morning. | |Alan runs probably one of the best equipped tree services in the Triangle area. These trees were so large and so close to the house that he had to bring over his crane to take the trees down in sections. He got the job done on time and cleaned up spotless. | |Tyndall Tree Service is the company you want to call when you have a dangerous or very large tree removal to be done. You can count on these folks to get the work done with little risk to your property. Alan is great to work with. You will probably get lower prices from other vendors because Alan does run some of the most serious equipment around and his kind of talent is worth it.

He came out the day after I called and was willing to do the work the next day. However, the weather was not cooperating and since he was concerned about tearing up our yard because of the wet ground, he suggested the next week when he called back. I told him that was fine and was glad he called as I was also concerned about the heavy equipment sinking in the ground. He then called two days later, a Friday, and asked about coming out early Saturday. We agreed, and he and his 2 men came out promptly at 8:00 a.m. the next morning.
They started with the backyard tree which was not overly large, but they carried it out since no hauling equipment would fit in the fenced gates. They very efficiently took the tree limbs off the huge oak and put them through the shredder (which ended up being a very large mulch pile. Then there was the huge trunk, which they dismantled in very large sections that were then machine loaded into their very large truck. They were completely done by lunch time. They even cleaned up any remaining leaves and small branches with a blower.
I highly recommend their tree service, and the price was $150.00 less than a competitor's estimate.

I have been going to them for 4 years. They came about 3 weeks ago. They were cutting a tree in my garden. They are very nice local people that give you good service. I will continue to use their services.

Very good job. They were very thorough with the whole job, and cleaned up the yard after bringing the tree down. They chipped up the tree in their chipper right on the street, and then cleaned up the street after themselves as well. Overall, great experience.

Great. Returned my call quickly. Came out on a Saturday to give the estimate. Showed us as scheduled. I thought price was really resonable for the work. Most of the trees were basically without limbs but two were awkward to get to.
He did not try to talk me into work i did not need.
Would use again!

Everything went GREAT! I really like the fact that Allen Tyndall showed up on time, and personally performed all of the tricky tree removal himself. He had two of his employees with him, and it was a true team effort. Without a doubt, I had a difficult tree to be removed. However, Mr. Tyndall and his crew made it look very easy. Everything went extremely well, and the problem tree is now history. My backyard looks great now! It should be noted that this firm has the latest, state-of-the-art tree removal equipment. They are also fully insured. Overall, I give this firm a very big Thumbs Up! The price was very fair. In my opinion, this firm is truly a class act. I will definitely use them again. Oh, one last thing... They did a very good job in cleaning up the tree debris after all of the tree removal (and chipping) was completed. They even blew off my driveway as well a portion of my cull-de-sac!!

This company really distinguished itself by its professionalism and superior work. Allen Tyndall was able to identify a number of dead or diseased trees that had escaped my attention and he didn't charge for the extra work. When they were done, they cleaned the site meticulously, removing all debris and blowing any excess. They showed up on time and kept to their estimate. I can't think of anything they could have done better and I highly recommend them.

He came in a big truck with the bucket. He blew off any mess that was made, cleaned up after himself. They were polite, completed in a timely manner, and did what they said they would do.

A large limb (approx 30' high) on an oak tree broke during a storm. The limb did not completely break and so the branch was hanging down. Since it was where a new deck was to be built in 2 days we needed to have it removed immediately. We called Tyndall Tree Service on a Sunday afternoon, left voicemail expecting it would be Monday before we heard. Less than 2 minutes later they called back. Allen Tyndall said he'd be out in the morning after another job. 7:30am Mon Allen called to say he would be here in 10 mins - 1st job let him move them to 2nd spot. Allen arrived, introduced himself, and with his helper scoped the situation. Since the tree was in the back he was unable to move his truck there, so with ropes & gear he climbed the tree. He sawed off the limb, pulled it to their truck, ground it up, cleaned up the area & was done. Took about an hour and there was no mess, no fuss on our part. Allen was extremely professional, kind, honest, punctual, and went above & beyond to take care of our problem. The cost was $275. His work was worth every penny. We would recommend Allen & his tree service to anyone needing tree work performed. We would rate them as A++

Tyndall tree service removed the trees (it was amazing to watch) and even cleaned up the mess. They didn't want to tear up my yard so we waited until it was dry AND they brought mats to protect the grass. They also cleaned up their mess. It was like they were never there, except the trees were gone. I think the price was really affordable. Very good company.
