"Customer was refunded $100.00."
The Triboro crew arrived at 7:30am. They immediately got to staking out the new pad. Next they needed to excavate the area which was dirt and covered with stones. This was done before lunch. They took a 30 minute break and then proceeded to do the paving. By 3pm they were cleaning up and getting ready to head out. It looks wonderful. The crew was very courteous and I thought represented Triboro well. I let the owner know this. It's been over a month, it was graded perfectly away from our garage. I'd recommend Triboro Paving without hesitation.
I think customers on Angie's List should attempt to work out an issue with a business owner before writing a negative review. Negative reviews are for horrid work which is not done properly and the company is not responsive. I wish all small businesses operated like Triboro. A++++
"My name is Bob Wallace, owner of Tri-Boro Paving. Unfortunately our company does not guarantee seal coating. There are just too many factors that can affect the longevity of seal coating that are out of our control. As anyone in our area can attest to we have just come off of the worse winter we have experienced in our area in years. Our storms averaged 9” to 14” plus inches of snow each storm and we had I believe 6 snowstorms this winter. Next to chemicals being spilled on the driveway snow removal can be very harsh on a seal coated driveway. Metal scraping across any surface is not a good thing. Imagine taking a metal scraper and scraping up against a painted wall over and over again. The result is not good. It is the same idea when plowing, shoveling or even using a snow blower. If any salt or calcium chloride was used that would also cause deterioration in the sealer. I will take ownership of not getting back to the Anderson’s in a timely manner after I took a look at their driveway. Unfortunately the outcome would have been the same; we simply cannot guarantee the longevity of the seal coating."
