Painting of Homes (interior & exterior) as well as Roofs. We also do Commercial Buildings. Power washing is included in Paint work. We have been in Business for 17 years now. We do Excellent neat work and we are very meticulous. We treat it as if it is our Home or Business and we like all of our work done Neat, Beautiful and in a timely manner. We have done work for alot of great Doctors in Hilo, their homes as well as their office buildings. We were told that we were hired because of our Trust Worthiness and Neat Work that was performed. We Love working closely with people as well as making their Homes or Businesses Beautiful.

"Joey is very professional, meticulous and pays attention to every detail. Our job was made much more complex as we stripped the cedar on the house structure to bare wood prior to painting/staining. As problems came up, Joey and I were quickly able to resolve them with no loss of time nor extension to the due date. The project completed on time and we are very pleased with the results. A special shout out to Joey’s wife Cindy who was incredibly supportive (and is an excellent cook). Joey and Cindy made us feel as though we were family. There are deck restoration products and oil-based wood stains that can help bring back some of the color and shine to your faded Trex decking. However, if your boards are suffering from serious fading due to UV rays or chemical cleaning products, don’t expect miracles. Also, these products are only suitable for use on the older Trex boards, not the capped, second-generation Trex products. 

It’s often best to spray on deck sealer. Sprayers can apply sealant more quickly and evenly than rolling while still enabling you to reach tight spaces. When using a sprayer, always use a low-pressure setting at a close distance to ensure an even application. Avoid using sprayers on windy days.

Hot, intense sunshine can cause your stain to dry too quickly, which could lead it to look uneven or patchy. If you’re staining the deck during hotter months, it’s best to do it in the morning or evening once the wood has had time to cool down. If you’re staining in cooler weather with less sunshine, the time of day won’t make as much of a difference.

Your tool of choice ultimately comes down to personal preference. Many DIYers prefer applying stain with a lint-free rag, but others stick with a paint brush or a roller. Wipe the stain and work it into the wood, working with and against the grain. If you’re applying multiple coats, allow the stain to dry for around four hours between coats.

Hold off on walking across your freshly stained deck for at least 24 to 48 hours and even longer before setting down furniture or planters. Drying time can stretch depending on humidity and temperature, so give it extra time when in doubt. Also, remember that even though your stained deck may feel dry to the touch, it can take 24 hours to one week to cure fully, based on the type of stain used.
