"They rekeyed at lock at my house in the basement. I do not use this door very much because the stairs are too steep. When I went to open the door the lock just spinned around. Since it had been two months I would have to pay $80 plus Mike save for them to fix what they didn’t fix to be gone with. Also when I pulled up to the van and met the repairman he had been smoking marijuana. I’m retired law enforcement."

Door locks should be changed roughly every seven years. The average lifespan of a door lock is seven to 10 years, so it’s best to err on the side of caution and change them early, especially if they are showing signs of wear and tear.
