I am an independent contractor using my skills from many years of performing maintenance repairs. My hourly rate is $35.00 an hour. With bigger jobs, I may have to have a helper to expedite the job which is a higher rate. I have to review the work needing to be done before committing to a job. The quote is a rough estimate for now. I have bid many of jobs which takes time away from me working.
