"Excellent service. Chericah, Archie and their two girls are no strangers to work. They came into our home and performed a deep clean of our house. My wife and I were very pleased with the result of their efforts. They are very nice and pleasant people to work with. We have already agreed for them to come to our home on a regular house cleaning schedule."

"The first thing I saw, was the Spotless Logo on the shirts, so I knew who they were.  That was a great help.   The lady and gentlemen that came into my home, were very receptive to my needs, since I'm not able to do things yet, because of the car accident.  I instructed them on how to use my Rainbow, but even I had forgotten and told them to put too much water in the bowl.  They brought to my attention as to how the Rainbow was skipping and cutting off.  I then told them to put less water in there, and the problem resolved itself.
I enjoyed the crew, as the number one thing is that they are Christians and that made me feel more comfortable with them.  It took me a while to get used to them being here, without jumping out of my skin, whenever they came into the computer room.  I told them that I had been away in the hospital for six months and had just gotten home on 28 Feb 13.  I also told them that even when my dad is here, when he comes into the room I'm in and starts to talk, my heart jumps to my throat, as I'm not used to other people in my home.
There were some things that my aide, Valerie, and I had to finish the next day.  They didn't take the books off the bookshelf and dust, but just dusted around the books.  Likewise with the top of the filing cabinet.  They also didn't clean the window sill in the computer room, but they did wipe down the blinds.
In the kitchen, they didn't clean the stove, thoroughly.  Valerie and I will take the burners apart, when she comes on Monday, to finish cleaning the stove.  Everything else was great.

"Very pleased with the professional service I received on such short notice. I had an older family member needing to move in with me unexpectedly and needed to have areas of my home cleaned. I reached out on a Sunday afternoon and they were there Monday morning. My home was cleaned beautifully. I highly recommend Revive Building Solutions LLC."

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You should always use hot water to clean your carpets. The heat will help lift dirt and stains as you work over them with your carpet cleaner. Before you fill your tank, allow your faucet to run until you’re sure the water is hot and ready to go.

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.

The duration of mildew smell in carpets depends on several factors, including the extent of moisture, cleanliness, and ventilation. If promptly addressed, the smell can diminish within a few days to a couple of weeks after thoroughly drying and cleaning the carpet. However, in severe cases or if not properly treated, the smell might persist. Persistent odors could indicate deeper mildew growth, requiring professional cleaning or, in extreme cases, carpet replacement to completely eliminate the smell.

If you choose to have a professional clean your rug, you should schedule a visit every 12 to 18 months. Higher-traffic areas like an entryway should be cleaned more frequently, but a seldom-used guest room can go for more than 18 months without a professional cleaning. Discuss your rugs with your cleaning pro to get an idea of your home's particulars.

Use a carpet brush or a broom to remove the top layer of loose dirt. For a deeper clean, spray the carpet with a thin layer of three parts water and one part white vinegar. Blot the area with a towel and let it fully dry before sweeping again with the broom.
