The Driveway Company has been involved in driveway repair and maintenance for over 30 years. Throughout those years he has developed techniques for extending the life of driveways using concrete sealants that stop the penetration of harmful corrosives along with barriers that prevent water saturation. When water penetrates the concrete and the freeze/thaw cycle occurs, the result will be flaking and decay of the concrete drive. The Driveway Company also pours new driveways as well as repairs and upgrades garages.

"I gave the Driveway Co. (DWC) 1 star because they did pour the driveway turnaround. However THEY DIDN'T CLEAN UP THEIR MESS AFTERWARDS!!!! The portable cement turner left horrid marks in my driveway - they vowed to come back and pressure wash it but never did! The worst thing is ARGO who they sub-contracted the cement from accidentally poured a 4 X 4 foot round of cement right on the ground missing the cement turner! The DWC said they would follow up and get ARGO to clean it up. I've been trying with texts an emails since 11/22 and they just ignore me! I sent Andrew a couple of emails directly with no reply! I RESENT the DWC leaving me with promises that they obviously had no intention of following up on. I gave them plenty of time to do the cleanup. I tried reaching out to the DWC for 5 months now to no end!!! If I'm made to clean the cement up myself by the county, I will sue the DWC for reimbursement! I do have the evidence. It's not right and it's not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Artistic Concrete Designs Epoxy offers a superior floor coating system designed for residential applications such as garage floor, patio or basement floors, we specialists with commercial showrooms, warehouse and restaurants epoxy installations as well. Artistic Concrete Designs uses proper preparation, products, and trained our team to provide the best floor available, our products are guaranteed to wear better and last longer than substandard epoxy finishes.

"I would never have used them had I known what I was in store for. Cracks were left open, and the stain was not pulled up evenly, which left some rooms very light, and others much darker. There was overspray on the walls, and when they pulled up the trim during prep they tore the paint from the walls. I recouped some of our money, and he agreed to do our garage. Again, he did not deliver what he promised. He was very much hurried, almost in a panic to finish quickly. I'd never hire them again."

We stand behind the policy of integrity, workmanship, and dedication to the job to ensure that you receive a finished product worth talking about. We make it our primary goal to provide the best slabs on grade, tilt walls, sidewalks, paving and more so that we continue to have satisfied customers daily.

"They did a superb job and did it very quickly. Its been two years now but still we don't have any problems. They were friendly, prompt and did exactly what I asked them to do. Did an excellent and wonderful job. They were trustworthy and did not make any claims that they can't follow up on. Pricing was reasonable for the assign work. They added few details and stuff that can inprove the quality. They had to accomodate the low spot and build a step area which is very helpful."

Construction company focusing on high quality renovations but we do all work no job is to big or small

"Well I contacted Rob about a house I was looking to buy and renovate. He met with me, was super nice, took down everything I wanted to do, etc. I then paid him $150 for a proposal. That’s where the problems started. Although he set the deadline himself, I kept hearing ‘tomorrow, tomorrow’ when I would ask for an update. Finally got it back. It was a pretty vague list of things and rough prices attached (ex. just “floors - $X” - not “hardwood in middle bedroom,” “tile in the kitchen,” and so on) and a shoddy drawing of a layout with hardly any detail and certainly not drawn to scale. Maybe my expectations were off there. But I want a little more than that before I go take out a loan and hire you to do a $100K job, amirite? But whatever, whatever - put that aside. It comes down to when I’m going to have to make a decision, need to get him approved by my bank... POOF. GONE. Radio silence. Won’t answer calls. Won’t answer texts. Won’t answer emails. I said he could just let me know if he didn’t want to take this on, etc. Just nothing. Strange way to run a business. Especially when the job you want people to hire you for is usually time sensitive and requires excellent communication. Honestly, I hope he’s okay and if I hear otherwise, I’ll consider removing this. But without more information, I wanted to give an honest review and give folks a heads up that this could happen again."

Decorative Concrete questions, answered by experts

Yes, concrete steps need rebar to reinforce the structure and ensure it can hold weight over time. Place a lattice of rebar inside the form before pouring concrete to give the steps their maximum strength. Tie each intersection together with rebar ties to hold the structure all together. Without rebar, concrete steps can sink, crumble, and lose their longevity.

Concrete houses will last for between 75 and 150 years, depending on the environmental factors in your area. Unlike lumber in stick-built houses, concrete doesn’t rot, and it’s more resistant to wildfires and earthquake damage, so you’ll almost always get a longer lifespan from a concrete house than you would a traditionally framed one.

Concrete stain is usually better than dye for longevity because it is more durable and shows less wear and tear. While stain is not as saturated as dye, it gives you more control over the final look of the concrete countertops.

You should sand concrete before painting, as it helps remove any irregularities and pieces that stick out from the surface. This not only helps the paint look better but it prevents any unwanted water absorption.

You can dry pour concrete over existing concrete, but it’s best to use wet pour concrete instead. Dry pour concrete is easier to apply, but in order for new concrete to adhere to old concrete, it needs the right mixture for slow, uniform curing. Additionally, dry pour concrete is less durable and less resistant to cracking and concrete sinking, so dry pouring over an existing slab may result in surface imperfections appearing prematurely.
