Small jobs welcome

"William Jordan and Yard Art did an amazing job getting my property cleaned up. Had a drainage problem in the front yard with a lot of standing water and mud everywhere. Yard Art cleaned out the drainage ditches so water would flow more efficiently and created trenches for the standing water to flow to the drainage ditch. A lot less water backed up in the yard and so much better than before. Also had tons of leaves piled up in the front and back yard that they blew into piles, raked and took to the local dump. Three big trucks full of leaves. A huge job that they took care of with a reasonable price for the amount of work the did. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for all of your landscaping issues. Definitely five stars!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Disposing of old paint, bleach, oil, and fertilizer should be handled by a company that specializes in this kind of waste. Many private junk removal companies do not dispose of these items. Because these materials are hazardous to the environment and dangerous to handle or dispose of improperly, you should confirm with your local municipality about places to take hazardous materials for safe disposal.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.

Professionals are trained in identifying hazardous materials and utilize industry-approved methods for safe handling and disposal. They adhere to regulatory frameworks to protect health and the environment, ensuring all materials are disposed of safely and responsibly.

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.

Household products such as paints, cleaners, oils, and batteries are considered hazardous and should not be disposed of with regular household waste. Instead, look for local household hazardous waste collection facilities where you can safely dispose of these items without harming the environment or human health.
