We offer quality and affordable stump grinding services. Along with a wide variety of property management services to reclaim green space on your property. Brush and Forestry Mulching Tree Service Grading Soil prep for Sod or Grass Sod and Grass Installation Drainage solutions

"I can only give the highest praise. E&D responded quickly to my inquiry and did a thorough walk around the property with me asking questions and explaining the process that would be used to remove the trees. I had several large trees removed, and the largest was very close to the house and required special care to bring it down carefully. The price was quite reasonable, workers were very courteous and professional, and after the stump grinding, it's hard to tell that a tree was there. They cleaned the debris as well."

"I would not recommend this company, only use in a pinch. I was also messaged by Corey Faulkner(Brandons father) after I left an honest review on Google. His company profile on Google has since been deleted to get rid of my review. Cheers!"

Stone and Gravel questions, answered by experts

You may not need a hammer drill if you’re planning on drilling one or two very small diameter holes in brick. For holes with a diameter of 3/16-inch or less, a regular drill with a masonry bit can do the job. However, the bit will heat up quickly, and the process will take significantly longer than with a hammer drill. Prepare to cool your drill bit down in a bucket of water more often.

Cutting stone comes with a number of safety hazards. First and foremost, if you’re not comfortable with the equipment required to cut stone, including blades and grinders, you could easily injure yourself. The heavy machinery also poses a risk to your ears if you don’t wear proper ear protection; similarly, you need to wear eye protection to keep debris from irritating your eyes.

However, the biggest risk from cutting stone comes from the stone dust. When breathed in, stone dust can be a huge hazard to your lungs. Always wear a face mask when cutting stone to prevent inhaling stone dust, and thoroughly clean the work area when you are finished.

To avoid injury, we recommend hiring a stone-cutting professional, rather than attempting this job yourself.

Initially, brick staining is not cheaper than painting. However, while it has a higher up-front cost, it may be more cost-effective in the long run. Brick stain can last for 20 years or longer, compared to paint, which usually starts to peel away in three to five years.

It’s called cobblestone because it’s made of stones that are “cobbed” together. A cob is a term that refers to rounded lumps. Originally, cobblestone streets were made from pebbles and stones gathered from riverbeds that had been rounded over time by the passage of water. The term has nothing to do with a cobbler, which is the term for someone who makes and fixes shoes.

It is possible, albeit a lot slower, to break up a rock using water. You would do this by freezing and thawing the water. You could create some initial holes or cracks in the rock, then pour water into the cracks or holes and allow them to freeze (so it's best to do this in winter or in colder climates). Since water expands when it freezes, this puts pressure on the inside of the rock and causes it to crack. You could continue to pour more water in and let it freeze to continue to break up the rock.
