"I couldn’t be more happy with the process and the results!! Working with Jake and Parkstone Construction was unlike any other contractor experience I have ever had. He was very kind, a clear communicator, and a man of his word. Seems like it should be a given, but that hasn’t been the case in the past with other contractors we have hired (just getting those previous guys to show up when they said they would was enough to drive me crazy)! I am now thrilled every time I drive up to our house. The quality of the materials, the workmanship, and the end result are all just incredible. We will absolutely be calling Parkstone every time we need help with anything even remotely related to construction."

We install spray foam insulation on roof decks, exterior roofing, walls, crawl spaces etc. We are a small business owned and operated by Lynn Murray of Folkston Ga. We sprayed foam insulation in residential and commercial both new and old construction. We strive to provide the best high quality insulation service and guarantee that you will be satisfied every time.

"Service was spectacular! Spray foamed our garage/storage building’s ceiling and walls. Not only did the spray foam insulate the structure but it really strengthened the building. A storm may take off the roof but it will not blow down the walls of the building. Quick response to our need for this service and a professional at this type work. Would definitely use this company again!"

Insulation questions, answered by experts

While you should always insulate ceilings and exterior walls, you don’t always have to insulate the interior walls of your home to maintain energy efficiency. However, there are benefits to insulating every wall, including improved soundproofing and energy efficiency throughout your home.

Expect your home insulation project to take between five and 12 hours to complete on average for batts or boards and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. It might take longer if you need to remove your home’s existing insulation, you have a higher-than-average square footage, or accessibility is limited.

Periodic checks for moisture or pest issues ensure consistent performance.

Insulating windows without plastic is usually the better method. Outside of simply replacing your windows, you could buy cellular shades, which trap air between the window and the home, add a window film that blocks UV rays and traps heat, or cover your windows with a low-emissivity coating called “low-E.”

You should insulate ducts in a crawl space if you live in a colder climate or you run your air conditioning for most of the year. Insulating ducts doesn't take too much time or investment and can make a big difference on your electricity bill. While this is more difficult in a crawl space, if any ductwork is being done either you or a professional will be down there anyway. A bonus benefit is since they will be putting off less hot or cold air they'll be less attractive to any unwanted pests in the home.
