"Donna and Jeff (owners) were hands on supervisors. "Very well. The slight dip in the kitchen looks better and the doors trued up. The slight sag still in the kitchen floor is because of the sub floor plywood which I didn't want to get in to. They leveled the joist by shimming the tops of several cinder block posts and installing a pair permanent of steel posts under a section of joist the previous owner had cut in two."

"Kane Williams came to our house and fixed the problem (leaky faucet in bathroom sink). He did an excellent job -- he came out the same day we called; arrived when he said he would; came in and did the repair job quickly and efficiently. Mr. Williams was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about plumbing (gave us some good advice on questions we had). We will definitely call on him in the future when needed for plumbing repairs."

While unplugging your garbage disposal and plugging it back in may help, most units have an actual reset button, a bright red switch found on the underside of your unit. If your garbage disposal needs resetting, you may notice this button sticking out about a quarter of an inch from the surface of the unit, with which it’s usually flush. Simply depress this reset button to reset the unit, and then test to ensure it’s working about 10 minutes later.

Whether it's worth repairing your garbage disposal depends on its age and the specific problem. Generally, if the unit is eight years old or younger, repair is a good option.
