Total Home Roofing

Excellent work on completed roof and had an inspector the next day. Everything seemed fine.

Roof was installed 9/2021. Roof leak reported on7/5/2023. Inspector indicated debris has caused the water to back up and caused leak. On Friday, April 25, 2025 another leak occurred in the same location. The chimney area is the location. Minimal debris located, not enough to cause a leak. Inspection of the area appears to have a defect in the workmanship in properly sealing the flashing around the chimney This is the cause of the leaking that has ruined the ceiling in my den area. The workmanship is under a 15 year warranty, called the company twice, had to leave a message each time for someone to call back, but there has been no response. Original install had multiple areas of damages to my outside home as well which they failed to fix. The damages were fixed by me including the installers damaging my gutter guards, chips in the siding of my house and nails and debris left. The first leak was never fixed as the inspector said it was because the water backed up? This is not an acceptable fix under the warranty and will need to be addressed properly to ensure this does not happen again.

Roofing installation was quick - but there are some EVIDENT issue with the roof. First and foremost, the roof has some extremely poor workmanship. We have already went through the process of filling our warranty with the roofing supplier company because the actual workmanship is significantly below their standards and this is an emergency. Total Home roofing no longer installs roofs, was owned directly by Angi back in 2022 per Angi, and I can no longer reach the company. Note from Warranty Company, Inspector, etc. Hole in roof is either done from poorly installed roof, or contractor damage on exit. The boots are not properly sealed. In addition, all the shingles are nailed down a lot further than they should be. There is a surenail strip that you should not able to see that's fully evident. Our ceiling is completely showing water damage now, and our roof is now leaking daily.

They took off my gutters that they were supposed to save according to the contract. They installed the roof. 7yr. WARRANTY ( ●I DO HAVE A PICTURE OF THE ROOF LEAK●) I do not know how to upload a picture!

The work was done promptly and quickly. It appeared to be done well. There were no complaints until we noticed a leak in the ceiling near where the original leak had been. So I m not sure how long there was a leak, but we did not notice it until, a month or so ago. We had someone come out and inspect the chimney thinking that might be the problem since the roof had been newly installed. However, a water test was done, which revealed water coming in through a shingled area.

Do not pay until job complete.. Quit in middle of job when he found that he cut material wrong and would take longer to correct mistakes and do job right than estimated for job.

One of the best experiences Iâ ve had with customer service. Matt was exceptional, personable, and very responsive. The workers arrived early and the job was done in a day. I love my new roof and the Brownwood color. There was damage to some siding at the bottom of my chimney from the flashing, but overall Iâ m satisfied. The production manager, Alan, arranged for someone else to fix the siding at an additional cost, which I appreciated.

If you ask, they will eventually pick up their nails, which scatter everywhere. They worked fast and finished our house in one day, except in only one place, which they took care of the next day. Almost all cleanup was done on same day. We have not really had any rain, but we assume that we will no longer have leaks through our kitchen ceiling.

Professional and dependable

Matt was great and wonderful to work with.

Crew did a good job on the roof but destroyed our surrounding gardening and they ruined our dog gate which allowed him to escape and was missing for 2 hours. The crew also left both of our water spigots wide open and the hoses strewn about with zero care.

I remain waiting to pay until the job is complete.
