He told me that it wasn't actually a crack in the foundation but a crack in some superficial cement that was smeared over the actual foundation and is just a cosmetic problem that doesn't need to be dealt with. He gave me some advice and recommendations for some gutter work and didn't charge me a dime.

"We were disappointed to learn that the home we recently purchased had major mold issues in our crawlspace. We learned after several estimates that the crawlspace issue had not been properly addressed, after we noticed significant moldy, musty odors in our bathroom.
An inspection of the crawlspace revealed the need for immediate mold remediation and repair of our space. "They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
