The other two roofing companies I never heard back. Braswell Construction contacted my insurance company and worked out all the details. A week later I had a brand new roof with gorgeous colored shingles. Everyone in the neighborhood stopped by and literally knocked on the door to inquire. Chris Gaugler was onsite and available for questions anytime to the very end. The crew only took one day to do the house, extended 4 car garage and well house. Photos attached and it really makes a difference."

He explained the whole process and discussed his crew that would be on the job. The very polite, hard-working guys showed up on time and never stopped until the job was completed! "We placed our window and door order with Champion Windows on March 21, 2024, and the final installation wasn’t completed until May 13, 2025—almost 14 months later. What should have been a straightforward project turned into a drawn-out, frustrating experience filled with poor communication, broken promises, and costly inconvenience. The windows had to be reordered three separate times due to poor craftsmanship, incorrect sizing, and visible scratches—clear signs of serious quality control issues. We also ordered two doors. One had to be replaced entirely because of a scratch on the inside of the glass, and during one installation visit, glass panels were broken inside our home, creating a dangerous safety hazard with children present. To make matters worse, we had to take time off work on five separate occasions to accommodate installation appointments—all of which were the result of Champion’s repeated mistakes. This added a significant and ongoing inconvenience to an already stressful process. The Regional Operations Manager visited our home, acknowledged the numerous issues, and made verbal assurances that were ultimately never followed through on. Despite escalating concerns to upper management, no one took responsibility, and customer service was virtually non-existent throughout the entire ordeal. We paid over $42,000 for this project, and at no point where we offered any refund, discount, or compensation for the unacceptable delays and errors. The only offer we were given was that of a gift card to a local restaurant. To date, this gift card has not been received. In summary, our experience with Champion Windows was deeply disappointing. The lack of accountability, poor craftsmanship, and disregard for the customer’s time were simply inexcusable. We would strongly advise others to avoid this company."

"OC roofing did an amazing job. The communication from the first phone call to schedule an estimate, to the last phone call when payment was given, was superb. I knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it. As far as the work? It was perfect. OC removed all my gutters and replaced about 30' of fascia board and got it "paint ready". I had the whole house painted (by another contractor), and the new gutters back on the house in about 1 week. Sandra with OC Roofing, helped to make sure the length of time the gutters were not on the house was kept to a minimum and my painters knew when they planned to show back up, keeping the paint on schedule. OC's crews were clean and efficient and when the work was completed (both stages) there was absolutely no mess to clean up in the yard. I will not hesitate to call back OC Roofing Systems for any roofing needs in the future. The pricing was great and so was the piece of mind in knowing it was done correctly the first time. "We contacted Mr Groves and scheduled an estimate consultation, he didn't show up for this appointment and I had to call him to reschedule. 30 minutes after he came to our house and gave us an estimate he called me to say he was running late, I reminded him that he had just been there. He said that the coupons on this site were no longer valid. We signed the contract for roof and gutter replacement and schedule a date for the roof to be replaced. A week before our scheduled roofing Mr. Groves called e to say that he would be out to give me an estimate for our roof. I called him back and reminded him that he already had and that we were scheduled for the roof to be replaced, he assured me that he would be there on the scheduled day. His crew showed up and did a great job on the roof. We asked when the gutters would be done and were told in a few days. We explained that we needed to know when the work would be done as we have two big dogs and needed to be home to keep them inside while the work was being done. I had to contact the company again a week later to ask when the work would be done, was told that they would return my call and let me know. I had to call back the next day and was told that the gutter guy hadn't given them a day yet but that they would let me know prior to the work being done. A week after that men showed up in my driveway, fortunately I was off but had planned on going out that day. I had to cancel my plans and stay home to keep my dogs inside. The downspouts were not placed where y husband wanted and he had discussed this with Mr. Groves when he gave us our estimate. The gutters are black but you can see white on them so we will have to paint them. I contacted Mr. Groves to let him know that we were not happy with the job, he said he would talk to his project manager and get back with me. 2 weeks have passed and still no word back from him. I paid him for the work but would not recommend him to anyone else. Obviously he doesn't care that the work was ot done to our specifications nor that we are unhappy with the job."
