"Very professional, knowledgable and accommodating team from Fort Payne, AL. Blown insulation to R44 in over 2000 SF in my attic in Chattanooga. Brad & Wendy went above and beyond to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. Pricing very competitive as well. Highly recommend this company."

"I had an insurance claim and got quotes from several roofers. Chris from Braxco set himself apart. He listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and went over everything throughly. The new roof took a day and the crew worked really hard on it. It looks amazing. Chris then dealt with the insurance to close things out. I can’t recommend Braxco enough!! 5 ⭐️"

"The whole team at USA Insulation was a pleasure to work with - I experienced a friendly, professional level of service from the receptionist answering phone calls and scheduling, from the consultant who provided the job estimates, and to the two-person installation team. We only insulated the back addition of the house, for the walls and sub-floor above crawl space. Based on my experience with USA Insulation, I plan to hire them again to finish the rest of the house."

"These guys are the real deal. Excellent job and couldn't be happier with the result and the very fair pricing, which was significantly less than all the other quotes we received. They completed our old insulation extraction and spray foam installation in a 1600 sq.ft. attic in only five hours! 24 hours later we are back in our home with only very minimal odor from the foam. Even though the weather is cooling here I can already tell a significant difference in the midday temperature in the attic. We also now have a HUGE new storage area which prior to the foam install was largely unusable because of the extreme temperatures. Fantastic!!!"

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Yes, exposure to fiberglass insulation can cause harm to your skin and eyes. However, this typically refers to the fiberglass insulation that is mostly used in walls and attics. Fiberglass doors don’t pose risks for fiberglass exposure because they're fully encased in polymer cladding.

It’s best not to install a radiant barrier directly under insulation because it requires an air gap on at least one side to work properly. Instead, you should install the radiant barrier over your existing insulation to create an air space to reflect the radiant heat.

Minimal maintenance is required, though regular inspections to ensure insulation hasn't shifted or deteriorated can improve performance over time.

Periodic checks for moisture or pest issues ensure consistent performance.

Faux wood garage doors provide the best insulation for garages. This style is commonly insulated with polyurethane foam—a thermal conductor—that retains heat and keeps you and the inside of your garage warm.
