"The install went well.  They performed the back breaking labor without complaining and sitting around at break time very long.  They worked hard and did their jobs well.  The system was designed by the owner of the company and the labor was done by his crew while he personally explained to the team leader what we wanted done so that the system was set-up according to one plan and not hurt by several plans being merged together.  They didn't seem to mind me watching much of the work.  I even pointed out one or two things I had concerns about and they addressed my concerns well and made slight changes to make me feel better about the structure and complete & total ending operation.  We have had rain since they installed the system and I can see the water following the gravity system down the path of least resistance they made for it."

"Setting up the appointment with Victor was a breeze. He and his son TJ arrived right on time, ready to start. I showed them all the air vents and they started removing the vent covers. There were a few mechanical issues that arose with the equipment they were using, but they overcame the problem with a backup method, and got the job done. "A+ RECOMMEND HIGHLY Jessie was prompt, has excellent communication, and all of the work done was exacting. Great craftsmanship, detail oriented. Reasonable pricing. We had a partially demoed bathroom. We needed DRYWALL repair to match existing plaster, prime and PAINTING, a transition from wood floor to tile ( as the previous contractor had left this unfinished), installed PLUMBING fixtures including having to replace part of the waste pipe due to old cast iron and old flange not meeting floor any more ( previous contractor). While here he also performed several HANDYMAN/ Carpentry services for me including constructing a door to our crawlspace, a metal roof to protect our tankless water heater mounted outside, and fixed our gate. He also removed and installed a second toilet in the master bath. A HUGE thank you to Jessie for finishing our project Also, we need a set of handicapped bars for the toilet adapted as the store bought dimensions did not work for our existing floor plan ( too wide). Jessie was able to source it to a welder for us. It is perfect and was very affordable. Made all the difference in making the bathroom functional for our daughter, who is a wheelchair user"

"Richard is excellent! The only problem with Richard is that he is so busy that he still hasn't had time to get on my next project of levelling the floor, installing the heat strips and setting 500 sq ft of 6x36 ceramic tile. He's going to start that next weekend and I'm sure that I will be giving you another review. All joking aside, Richard is very professional. He has very good equipment which says knowledge and success. He priced the job low and still did several extra things that I asked him to do while he was there. He asked for no extra money. Being a business owner myself, I felt that the job was so well done that I increased the total by 30% and still felt that I was underpaying. (Update) First let me say that Richard is an outstanding human being. I would trust him with my wallet. He works very hard to please the Customer. We are doing a complete remodel of our guest house and so far Richard has done the entire bedroom. That includes sheetrock, tile floor, paint and trim. As I stated in the previous review, he did a great job hanging the rock and did it so cheap that I paid him extra. The tile in that bedroom, about 450SqFt., is 6" X 36" on a very unlevel concrete slab. He worked his butt off getting that tile down. It wasn't perfect but I don't think anyone could have done better with that very difficult tile job. So, the sheetrock and tile were very good but then came the painting. The painting was really bad. I think that he got behind his scheduling because of the high difficulty of the tile job and rushed the paint. He chose to spray the walls and there is overspray everywhere. He put down tarps but they mare really for brush and roller work, not sprayers. Paint also shows the flaws in the sheetrock finishing and there were more quite a few. Richard worked diligently trying to fix them. I actually felt sorry for him, paid him and let him get on to his next job. I have another painter coming in to repair the paint job and I am working nights with paint thinner to clean the tile myself. I would still use Richard on some projects now that I know his skill level. I just expected too much from a man that bills himself as a handyman. All that said, if you have any tile job, Richard is as good as any contractor out there. I don't want to cost Richard any work. I own my business and admit that I have high expectations from other self-employed businessmen."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
