"Greg and his team provided us excellent service and we are very pleased with the results. We obtained several estimates for all of the work and Greg's pricing was comparable to others; he distinguished himself by actually calling us back and following up with us when we reached out to him then explaining very clearly how he would do the work needed and what the benefits were of having it done.
     Our home is old (1890) and the crawl space was very very cluttered and full of debris, hanging wires etc.  Greg's team did an exceptional job of cleaning up the space, repairing the foundation then encapsulating the very large crawlspace area.  At the end of the project, I went underneath the house with Greg and inspected all of the work. The attention to detail was very impressive. We can now easily access the crawlspace, which I was afraid to go near before, and have ample storage space that is clean, dry and well lit. The crawl space is also now totally secure thanks to the two new doors he installed, which can each be padlocked.
       I highly recommend the Crawl Space Doctor, Greg McBride!  We always knew when the guys would be coming to work on the house, they showed up when they said they would and completed the project within the time-frame given to us. Greg explained exactly what they would be doing and how they were going to do it.  He even went above and beyond by installing some lights for us in the crawlspace as well as an underground tube to direct water from a downspout directly to a drainage pipe.

"The owner was responsive to provide a bid and started work on the agreed upon day. The foundation repair seems to be of good quality and I would recommend them for this type of repair. They work met all expectations for this portion of the project. We included a small tuck pointing project on a wall and masonry refinishing of a porch step as part of the contract. This small part of the project overshadows the entire job based on the poor quality of work. The pictures below show the tuck pointing AFTER the first attempt to fix the problem. They did not even touch the worst bricks at the top and poorly applied masonry on the bottom part as shown in the picture. On the step, they patched the a portion that was flaking and left the remainder of the step untouched. The owner said he didn't think we had agreed to fix the whole step (why would anyone only patch one foot of a six foot step? ...and it was specified in the contract). He made the requested repairs after the first attempt and less than two weeks later, the second picture shows the end results. It crumbled like sand without touching it! I emailed the owner and asked how he would like to handle the situation and he never responded back. Masonry work is not their specialty....Floors Sag and Shake doesn't apply to masonry! I don't normally write reviews, but I can't let this go without sharing."

He gave us great recommendations on how to plan out our driveway extension and helped us with a company to move our existing irrigation We are thoroughly pleased with the extension job he did including a fix to our existing driveway. "A+ RECOMMEND HIGHLY Jessie was prompt, has excellent communication, and all of the work done was exacting. Great craftsmanship, detail oriented. Reasonable pricing. We had a partially demoed bathroom. We needed DRYWALL repair to match existing plaster, prime and PAINTING, a transition from wood floor to tile ( as the previous contractor had left this unfinished), installed PLUMBING fixtures including having to replace part of the waste pipe due to old cast iron and old flange not meeting floor any more ( previous contractor). While here he also performed several HANDYMAN/ Carpentry services for me including constructing a door to our crawlspace, a metal roof to protect our tankless water heater mounted outside, and fixed our gate. He also removed and installed a second toilet in the master bath. A HUGE thank you to Jessie for finishing our project Also, we need a set of handicapped bars for the toilet adapted as the store bought dimensions did not work for our existing floor plan ( too wide). Jessie was able to source it to a welder for us. It is perfect and was very affordable. Made all the difference in making the bathroom functional for our daughter, who is a wheelchair user"

"Did leave me a list of things the chimney needed, around $1000 worth. When I called another company to do the cap, I did not mention what was needed, and that installer said everything was fine. I don't know if Fireplace Doctor was extra vigilant or if they were looking for work. Overall, what I had them do was done timely and at the agreed price.

"Richard is excellent! The only problem with Richard is that he is so busy that he still hasn't had time to get on my next project of levelling the floor, installing the heat strips and setting 500 sq ft of 6x36 ceramic tile. He's going to start that next weekend and I'm sure that I will be giving you another review. All joking aside, Richard is very professional. He has very good equipment which says knowledge and success. He priced the job low and still did several extra things that I asked him to do while he was there. He asked for no extra money. Being a business owner myself, I felt that the job was so well done that I increased the total by 30% and still felt that I was underpaying. (Update) First let me say that Richard is an outstanding human being. I would trust him with my wallet. He works very hard to please the Customer. We are doing a complete remodel of our guest house and so far Richard has done the entire bedroom. That includes sheetrock, tile floor, paint and trim. As I stated in the previous review, he did a great job hanging the rock and did it so cheap that I paid him extra. The tile in that bedroom, about 450SqFt., is 6" X 36" on a very unlevel concrete slab. He worked his butt off getting that tile down. It wasn't perfect but I don't think anyone could have done better with that very difficult tile job. So, the sheetrock and tile were very good but then came the painting. The painting was really bad. I think that he got behind his scheduling because of the high difficulty of the tile job and rushed the paint. He chose to spray the walls and there is overspray everywhere. He put down tarps but they mare really for brush and roller work, not sprayers. Paint also shows the flaws in the sheetrock finishing and there were more quite a few. Richard worked diligently trying to fix them. I actually felt sorry for him, paid him and let him get on to his next job. I have another painter coming in to repair the paint job and I am working nights with paint thinner to clean the tile myself. I would still use Richard on some projects now that I know his skill level. I just expected too much from a man that bills himself as a handyman. All that said, if you have any tile job, Richard is as good as any contractor out there. I don't want to cost Richard any work. I own my business and admit that I have high expectations from other self-employed businessmen."
