My husband is super specific and detailed and he has done everything from hang swings, garage doors, hung all my tvs and did the electrical and the wiring in my gym and all. He did a fabulous bedroom for my daughter with the selfie Hollywood mirror and my entire from yard landscaping, complete with a fountain and all. He did all the shopping to get the best price on plants and the hardware. Now he is working on my back yard redesigning the lay out and making me a 14 ft table to have for my family thanksgiving dinner. Just finished a dog play area outside for me. He charges an hourly rate which I LOVE. Not per project."

"it went incredibly well.  The original scale of work was twice increased as rotten wood and other underlying problems were discovered and they were quick to inform us, even going so far as to send photos vis SMS in addition to calling to describe what they'd found.  Originally, they were brought in to repair window frames and siding, then paint all.  Much rot was discovered underneath and we had them repair that so the job would be done properly and not come back to bite us later.  The chimney was the largest unexpected addition to the work.  As they began to trip off the bad pieces of siding from it, they discovered that the entire structure was rotten.  I could have instructed them to build a simpler structure to hide the flue from the gas fireplace, but wished to keep the house aesthetically consistent with my attached neighbors, so the builet was bitten.  This ran an additional $4,000 or thereabouts.  It was an expensive decision, but sometimes home ownership requires it.

"This was our second project built by Backyard Construction. We had been so pleased with a 10x12' garden shed they built for us in 2012 that we had them build our art studio as well.  Once again, they did an outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with both buildings. Their part of the studio project involved constructing the shell of the structure; my husband and I, our electrician and our painter then finished the interior
We've used Backyard Construction because the quality of their buildings is excellent. After looking at dozens of other companies' offerings it was easy to see that Backyard used better materials and offered a higher level of workmanship yet was still very competitive pricewise. The studio is now one year old and the garden shed is two years old, and neither building has presented any problems whatsoever.
Construction began on time and was completed right on schedule. Their crew was courteous and extremely efficient. Dustin was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to our ideas and did an excellent job following up to make sure we were happy with everything.
