"Billy went above and beyond on some of the prep work, helping me pull up carpet before he painted a basement floor, and spray painting my storm windows for a very reasonable price. There were also a couple of beams where they made a decision that did not seem to be the color I would have chosen to match the trim, and Billy re-painted those couple of items without charging me. When it comes to application of the paint, painters think like painters and I think like a long term Homeowner, so you have to be on your toes during the negotiation on details. That said, Billy is still better than most, but you have to slow him down enough to make sure you are getting everything to the level you want it, number of coats, glazing, mildew resistance, etc."
