"We initially had high hopes when starting our project with Jacobs and Sons Concrete. Mrs. Jacobs was highly responsive and eager to finalize the agreement, even going so far as to personally collect our deposit the day the contract was signed. Sadly, things quickly went downhill after that. Delays were repeatedly attributed to weather and personal issues, which we initially understood. However, communication soon became non-existent, with emails and phone calls going unanswered. When the agreed-upon deadline was missed, Mrs. Jacobs eventually admitted to the delay and assured us that a refund would be mailed. That promise was made in July 2024. It is now February 2025, and despite multiple follow-ups, we have received no refund, only silence. This experience has left us feeling deeply disappointed and misled. Based on our interactions, I cannot recommend Jacobs and Sons Concrete to anyone. A business should be founded on trust and reliability, but this one has proven otherwise."

I’ve had several people in the neighborhood stop and compliment on how good my lawn looks. I found grayland and he came over to my house and we assessed everything they would need to be done. The work they did was impeccable and lasted years. I have hired this company for multiple jobs now. Always call Lee work and every time that we discuss the price it would come lower than that estimate. I could not pull it in the description of the work that you did. I have a gravel drive for you that I graded for me and brought in crush Stone. He also fixed the edges of my road that I was having trouble with. At the moment I am getting ready to have him come and change the culvert in my driveway because the people that installed it did not put a big enough pipe and at the wrong angle. I would hire nobody but quality paving. You will be satisfied with the work that you get and how fast they get it done"

"Hail damage occurred in March of this year and I contacted Braswell Construction as well as 2 other local roofing companies. Chris Gaugler contacted me asap and came out to the house. The other two roofing companies I never heard back. Braswell Construction contacted my insurance company and worked out all the details. A week later I had a brand new roof with gorgeous colored shingles. Everyone in the neighborhood stopped by and literally knocked on the door to inquire. Chris Gaugler was onsite and available for questions anytime to the very end. The crew only took one day to do the house, extended 4 car garage and well house. Photos attached and it really makes a difference."

"They were contracted to replace our shutters and paint the exterior of our home. It took them 3 months just to paint the exterior! There were messes made of our yard and they took down two trees. Our drive was pavement was cracked in multiple places. They constantly left our hose water on and broke our front water faucet. He took 1/2 the cost (0ver &5000) to order the shutters but then he never ordered them or refunded our money. Yes the job was eventually finished (sans shutters) but it was a very tedious and disruptive process."

"I responded to an Angie's list ad and prepaid $895 for landscape overhaul. The owner 'Diego' showed up for estimate and asked for additional pre-payment before starting work. I said I already pre-paid and I'll pay the rest at the completion. Diego told me he doesn't operate that way, he's no longer interested in the job, and I should ask Angie's for refund. When I called Angie's, I was told I should get refund from Diego instead. But Diego never would respond to my message. Then I repeatedly contacted Angie's again and I was always told that Angie's will research except they never refunded my pre-payment for a service they advertised but never delivered. They didn't even want to tell me if they ever reached out to Diego on my behalf. Extremely disappointed in Angie's!"
